Very good noise cancelling, ok battery life, slightly annoying on/off. A solid choice.
Unlike most of the reviews I saw for this, I have NOT been paid or compensated for writing this... I just bought it. I've bought and lost / smashed / destroyed many bluetooth headsets, including Bose and Jawbone, so I've been hunting around the lower end of the market for good 'commodity' headsets to be my go-to product.I've used and liked the Plantronic M50 product quite a bit, but it had terrible problems with background noise. Outside, or in wind, or driving with any substantial car noise and my call-ees would invariably say 'You're breaking up, I can't hear you".I bought this Symaxio as a test, because it claimed to have active noise cancellation.So:- yes, it is vastly better in noisy environments than the M50. Highly recommended - audio quality better overall.- battery life is less, probably 2-3 hours tops. If you buy this, charge it when able.- The audio features are OK (voice commands on power up / power down are very accented English, sort of hilarious). Does not announce caller number on iOS - and to be fair, neither does the M50. Only Jawbone does this in my experience so far.- annoying: there is no 'real' on-off switch - you have to press and hold a multifunction switch. Annoying because if you want to initiate a call, you hold for 2 seconds.... but to turn off, you hold for 3. So it is easy to accidentally power down, and I have done this many times.Almost deducted a star for this alone.SYMAXIO - add a hardware on-off switch and a bit better battery life and you'll have the best low cost bluetooth headset I know of.

I wish it were a little better
Cons:_The detachable clip seems to fall off all the time and need re-attachment. When you're in a hurry, which way does it go; and should you really have to fidget with it when trying to answer a call?_It feels uncomfortable after a long conference call_It takes to long to: pick up, get situated, power on, connect to the phone; in time to answer a call if you are not wearing it and have it powered on already_Says it is connected to the phone, but calls sometimes do not go through to the headset_If you every try and listen to music through it, it often cuts out after a few songs and won't reconnect_Without plugging it in, and listening to the voice ques; there is no way to tell if it is on, off, or connected_Battery life isn't that great. Needs charging daily. Another thing to plug in.Pro:_The volume is good, even in public_Compact size

Good, simple headset - Excellent Customer Service
Headset is as described. I received my package fairly quickly and packaging was new and easy to open. The unit comes with various sized rubber cushions to fit in the ear, a removable hook (to go around the ear), a micro usb charging cable (but no wall plug) and a small user's manual. This is a very simple headset, no bells and whistles, which is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a simple headset so that I could put my phone in my pocket and talk on it while completing housework. The range on the headset is not very far at all; if I place my phone on the counter and walk to the other end of the kitchen, I start to loose connection. The clarity for me is great, and others seem to hear me just fine as well. It is very comfortable to wear, I wear it from morning to night and often forget that I am wearing it at the end of the day until I lay down. Pairing and connecting to my Galaxy Note 4 was very easy. Battery life is excellent; after using all day, there is plenty of charge remaining. Over all I like this product and would recommend to someone looking for a simple headset.I must note that I am extremely impressed with the customer service of this vendor. After a couple of months of use, the headset stopped connecting to my phone. I contacted the vendor via the mail link in the order page. They were very quick to reply (within a few hours, which I found to be quite amazing!) to try to help me troubleshoot. The CSR that replied to my email seemed to have a pleasant tone and assured me that they would do whatever was needed to resolve my problem, which I found quite refreshing (it seems more often than not, customer service stinks from many companies). After all attempts to connect to my phone did not work, she advised a new unit would be sent to me right away. I received the new unit within a few days. I would definitely recommend this vendor to others, and if the need arises, will purchase from them again.

Hit and Miss...Mostly Miss.
I like the idea of paying less than $20 on a Bluetooth earpiece especially when I tend to lose them at work but when I'm on the phone...I NEED TO HEAR THE OTHER PERSON! I have ordered 5 of these in the past 3 months and they are very consistent, as long as they are within sight, they might work. If they are within 3 ft, you might have good luck. The last one I ordered started breaking up on me during an important call so it ended it's life on the work end of a sledge hammer! I don't normally resort to crude displays of emotion but It felt good for 30 seconds and motivated me to change course and try another brand.

A piece of junk!
I should've known, you get what you pay for, although in this case we didn't even get our money's worth. Within one month the ear-hook broke and with in 2 months the ear piece started falling apart which it eventually just fell off. The sound quality was mediocre.Since all of the issues happened outside of Amazon's holiday return policy we were not able to return it, so we are stuck with a piece of garbage, literally. Sadly I purchased this as a gift for my husband so essentially I purchased him a piece of junk for Christmas.I didn't notice it at the time but all of the 5 star reviews look like they were written by someone who works for the company.
