Boots Expert Anti-Blemish Cleansing Foam 5 fl oz (150 ml)

I first bought this cleansing foam in the natural product aisle at Target. Eventually the product line disappeared so I've bought it both direct from the manufacturer and through Amazon. This cleanser is excellent on my combination skin. I use it at night and leave it on my face to work for a minute or two. My adult blemishes have gone away except for the occasional eruption during a few days of the month. It's gentle and does not dry my skin. It's worth chasing down online since I can no longer find it in a local store.

I just purchased the foaming cleanser from Target , originally for my 11 year old daughter to keep breakouts from getting worse. I use it too now!It is very gentle for both of us, does not sting our eyes if we accidently get some in them. I do find if I use more than one pump, it can be a little drying, just shows that a little foam goes a long way. This foam wash has kept both of us from bad breakouts while helping to gently clear up any acne that might have come up.I did not want anything harsh for my daughter, who just started acne breakouts this year and I am going through menopause which everyone knows wreaks havoc for some women's skin.Oh, also I recently dicovered the foam wash is excellent for removing eye makeup.

I love this stuff. I have body acne and this is the only thing that has ever worked. It took about 3 weeks, but it does the trick. One of the few products that I will make a special trip for. BUT it is only $5.49 at Walgreens - not sure why it is twice that on amazon. They also frequently have a buy one get one at half off sale on top of that.

This product is wonderful it's fragrant free, color free, and gentle. One pump will do the job and it last a long time. I can say this, I've been using it for a month and I'm seeing some change. It's not dramatic but I have always had problematic skins so I'm not expecting a miracle. I'm hoping that slowly my skin will get better. I'm using the wash, toner, and night moisturizer which are great as well.

I'm not sure it works, I'll hold onto it and i might try it this summer to make sure.But looking forward to seeing results.

I recently changed my birth control and started experiencing some break outs. I've been a fan of Boots Botanicals products for years and thought I'd give the Expert line a try. I tend to have dry, sensitive skin and have severe environmental allergies. In the past, Boots products have been gentle enough for my skin and irritation doesn't occur.. not the case with this foaming cleanser. This product actually exacerbated my problem. It dries your skin out so much that it feels tight after cleaning. I tried to give the product a fair chance and used it for a month. After that, I had to stop b/c it wasn't helping. I believe this product might work very well with true acne, not the occasional breakout.

As I have gotten older my skin has changed. I tried everything. But not only did they not improve my skin they all seemed make it so much worse. Too drying, overly moisturized, causing more break-outs and turning my once lovely skin into a horror.I Found the boots line in Target went home and researched it. I decided to give it a try. I am so very glad I did. Not only did I not experiance the first wash break out. It cleared up all the blemishes I had. OVERNIGHT I saw a drastic improvement. My skin is fairly sensitive. And this didn't dry out my skin or do anything negative. Even before my period when I ALWAYS broke out I rarely see blemishes. I have recommended this to everyone I know. And they have all fell in love with it. I purchased it for under $5 at target. Very much worth the money.

If you have combination/oily and sensitive skin you'll find this wonderfully gentle. It won't do anything to actively treat your acne but it will not do anything to aggravate or irritate your skin, thereby causing more breakouts. My skin is very oily and not sensitive at all AND I have more than "mild" ance so I found that it really didn't do much for me. My daughter, however has all the correct skin qualities that make this a wonderful option for her in all but the coldest, driest weather.
