Good taste, great value
We buy these fairly regularly as there is nothing that really compares price-wise. The taste is slightly more bitter than a normal Lungo capsule but overall they do the job. It is a shame about the plastic wrapping, as others have said, but good to know the pods themselves are biodegradable.

Nice work Happy Belly/Amazon Brands! :)
These are great, really great, I have no problem at all recommending them to others and I would definitely buy them again.First a few points for review about the brand series, they are supplied in a good carboard box for storage, which contains three black plastic bags for freshness, these tear open easily (I can do it with one hand) and have sticky label tabs on the front which can be used to seal the bag closed again (if you open them carefully) like those bags of sweets in the cinema. The pods dont stick or jam in the machine, they are as good as the official brand pods supplied by Nespresso in all respects that I can tell (speaking of the build that is).The coffee that it brews/delivers is good, great as the smaller espresso draw and good also as the larger small cup which my Nespresso machine offers as standard. It has a good colour and a great fine froth surface to it which lasts all the way to the bottom of the glass and if you let it stand for a moment or two it does not disappear either. There is a good aroma from it, fresh made, when you tear open the bag the pods are supplied in there is a great aroma too, very earthy, at first I thought a little woody but I think I was mistaken, definitely earthy and very "strong coffee blend", if that makes sense. In the espresso it is as strong as you would expect, as the larger draw it is less strong but still very flavoursome and it retains its flavour well if you dilute the drink with milk, cream, foamed milk or hot or cold water but it is less strong. If you want to make americanos it would be a good base but you will need two or three shots if you prefer strong coffee flavour and hits of caffeine as I do. If you make "hammer heads", which are quad shots topped up to an Americano but with filter coffee rather than hot water, the flavour may disappear a little but I think it is discernable still and it will depend what the filter coffee is you paired it with too. Recommended.

Not bad, but not as good as Nespresso's own
I have no idea of the price of this item as it was not made available to me therefore it is difficult to review it fully, hence three stars. Nespresso capsules normally retail at about 45p per capsule and generally speaking these are a really good product. Fortunately, I was able to conduct a blind tasting on this item using my wife and two friends to compare them against a similar Nespresso product. Sadly for this item, everyone thought that the Nespresso product was superior, not that this product is bad, we just felt that the ones that we chose from a pack of 10 Nespresso Lungo were better.Onto this specific item, I thought that the coffee was good and very drinkable. When brewing it has a nice aroma and it tastes more than reasonable. I take my coffee black without sugar and I felt that it was quite sweet/fruity on its own, with little if any unpleasant bitterness or aftertaste.Would I buy it? Not sure and it would depend very much on the price. Provided that this capsule was priced around 20p each then 5 stars, 20-25p 4 stars and over 25p 3 stars. Basically, I don't buy coffee based on price, I buy it for quality, that said, at 20p a cup it is very palatable, the more the price rises the less palatable this item will become.

Reasonable taste, but not good value for budget pods
The taste and aroma is reasonable. The pods are packaged in small grouped bags to keep your coffee safe. Unlike some budget brands, these pods work every time. The pods are non-recyclable plastic, which didn’t impress me.There is no cost showing at present, but a pack of 50 capsules from the same range is currently on offer on Amazon for £13, so I assume this pack would cost around £8. This makes the pack good value compared with “official” pods, but not with the ordinary Amazon own brand pods, which are bigger, taste better and cost less than half these pro rata.

Tasty coffee guilt free with compostable capsules
I have tried these before I find the quality of packaging and the product construction is adequate. The capsules are reasonably sturdy and easy to handle.I really like the fact the capsules are compostable (many are not) as I can enjoy guilt free coffee and in fact coffee makes excellent compost. I dressed my grapevine and tomatoes with some and they grew far more vigorously. It has now become a regular composting material for me.We all have our favourite brand of coffee and those that we like to have now and then as an alternative. This has become one of my favoured alternative brands and I like it. I particularly like having this brand in the morning as it seems to suit breakfast food better.

Delicious, good quality coffee
This coffee tastes so good. I'm somebody who only likes coffee that isn't too bitter or strong, and this one has a really lovely flavour which is quite soft and not too overwhelming. It produces a nice oily top to the coffee which to me shows great quality and it smells delightful. You get so many pods in a box so it will last ages. It works great in our machine, just make sure you are getting the fight sized pods for your machine. The coffee itself gives a nice energy boost which isn't too much so I think I'm going to stick to this coffee for a while - I'm a convert! Really excited to try others in this range now too! Absolutely delicious.

Good coffee but irritating packaging
In this pack you get 30 Nespresso- compatible coffee pods. Inside the box there are three sealed bags each containing 10 pods. This implies that the Pods have a very limited life once opened, and the strong smell of coffee from the pods, far stronger than from the original Nespresso pods, does suggest that pods are not well sealed to keep them fresh. I regard this as a significant issue. In terms of the coffee itself, it's good and provides the necessary robustness for a larger coffee drink. On balance I prefer the coffee to the Nespresso original capsules.Overall good coffee but I dislike the way the coffee is packed. Four stars.
