EVIL MAD SCIENCE,Deluxe LED Menorah Kit

Fun father / daughter project. It took about 2 hours to put it together. My college age daughter thought it was great project. Any kid with a steady hand that is old enough to use the stove, because solder irons are really hot, should be able to do this project. I had to show her how to use the solder iron and after that she did it. She'd never done a project like this before and the instructions were excellent. She missed 1 solder joint which we had to trouble shoot, but she got it quickly. When she put it up on FB, every one of her friends wanted to make one, too. Also, you do need an electronics solder iron (should have grounded plug) and electronics solder. Don't try this with heavy plumbing solder.

I purchased this a few years back and built it...it wasn't hard and I'm not a great solderer. Anyway, it was a lot o fun and each year I put some older batteries in to see if the Menorah will burn for eight days...it does!
