The taste of this bread is just amazing.When I came to this country I was surprised with how sweet the bread was tasting... I didn’t like it.Berlín bread taste just perfect! Like if I were in Europe! Plus I am allergic to wheat and spelt is not giving me allergy, since It’s an old cereal not passed to the process other cereals has been passing for the past decades.

I have bought this bread at my local health food store and was hoping to get a better price here- but no. But I WILL say that because this bread is "SPROUTED," it acts more like a protein in your body than a carb! So it is MUCH healthier for those of us concerned about eating healthy carbs so we don't gain weight. Besides that, it is one of the most delicious healthy breads I have ever eaten. Very crispy when toasted and just delicious!!! Yes, it is more crumbly than other breads, but that is a fact of life when using freshly ground grain options. SOOO delicious! Please lower the price, and I'll order regularly. I get it for $6.99 per loaf. Beat that. (Sprouted bread is made by soaking the grain over night, draining, covering, and then rinsing it for several days until the grain sprouts. Then the dry grain is milled and baked. Spelt is one of the ancient grains that produces a softer bread.)

This bread has a pleasant, nutty flavor, but it falls apart easily. It's difficult to butter as plain bread or toast without crumbling It also crumbles when eaten dry, just as a slice of bread.
