It IS Zippy!
Connected 44 pegs in a rectangle by also buying a master set, which has 4 corner links.Cut Scotch packing tape into a few little strips, and taped all of the connecting pieces. It works! The pieces hold together while moving and looming my 44 peg Zippy. Making a 52” wide blanket. If I want to make a hat later, can easily reassemble the pieces. My Zippy is easy to use.

Fun to learn
I have made several blankets with a bunch of zippy looms pegs together. Easier to work with when zippy loom helps keep the yarn even.

Slippage from the groove
I love the adjustability , but, it needs more stability. The connection pieces keep coming out of the frame. There needs to be some way to lock them in place until it is desired to make adjustments to the shape or length of the loom.

Speedy Scarves
I love this loom! The day I got it I made 5 scarves! I couldn't really follow the written directions that well so I watched a you tube video and I was all set! There isn't a whole lot of patterns out there for it yet but I'm sure as more and more people play with it there will be. I did find a 5 stitch afghan tutorial that I really want to try! This is fun because you can knock a complete project in a very short amount of time. I'm a full time employee, mother and wife so sometimes I really crave the satisfaction of a quick project!

These gizmos are VERY useful and easy to use!
This (these!) work very well indeed! I had knitted an afghan for a friend's daughter and it took me 2-3 months to get it finished. I was sooo tired of the project before it was done. BUT I saw this loom and said that this would be even better than arm knitting to do large projects. I took 3 skeins of yarn and with 6 of these looms joined, I COMPLETED my afghan in 8 hours! And it is a beautiful thing! I plan to do several more of the afghans for Xmas gifts -- and I have the time to do it (Oct. 1). Yayyy!

not bad at all
Zippy was the first loom I've ever used. I bought it because it looked easy enough for beginners. I was right. I did buy a second, four peg Zippy (to have 8 pegs total) in order to make scarves. After using this, I had the courage to step it up to a set of round looms (with smaller pegs). You can buy four pieces of the Zippy to make hats, but they will all be really chunky. Overall, I recommend this loom. It's very sturdy, smooth and has a cute smiley face on the last peg. It's especially perfect for kids.
