I have tried other smart camera lenses before with less than optimal results. I offered to try this one in exchange for an honest review.First, I want to list what comes with the kit:1 - Wide lens + macro lens (attached together upon arrival)2 - Lens caps (one for each lens)1 - Lens clip1 - Mini rechargeable LED light w/USB cable1 - cleaning cloth1 - travel case1 - lanyards (one short and one long)1 - User manualUpon opening this package, I found the box to be a high quality secure box (like what you get with smart phones). It contained all of the above items. The directions are rather small so may be difficult to read if you don't have good eyesight. But the instructions are fairly easy to understand.If you want to use the wide angle shot, you have to use both lenses together and you are able to capture 50% more picture than you normally would. To use the macro lens, you would remove the wide angle and adjust the lens close to the item you are trying to photograph. You can use the cameras zoom feature to get even closer. The photo that I have attached is using the macro lens without any zoom on it. The wide angle shot is showing just how wide you can get with it. I was impressed with that.The Mini light is a nice feature and the fact that is chargeable is great. It has 6 different settings on it and for such a tiny little thing, it is pretty bright on some of them. The maximum use is 2 hours after a full charge.The lenses are labeled on them for which is which and the fact that they both have a lens cover is nice. The case that you carry all of the items in is hard with a zipper enclosure. It is the perfect size to carry everything.The quality of the pictures is totally dependent upon the quality of your phone's camera. The lenses in this kit seem to be high quality and I feel this is a nice package to add to your smart phone for taking pictures.

First time trying out a lens like this for my phone ( iPhone 6). I was curious to see if it would work and was given an opportunity to sample this product at no cost to provide a review. Great case and seems very well built and solid. The mount adjusts to fit directly over your phones camera lens. This would be helpful if one takes a good bit of selfies as it minimizes the need to stretch out your arm to get more into the picture if you use the wide lens option. The other option I thought would be more for a zoom ( far away objects ) is more to take super close ups ( think of stock photos of flowers that are an inch or so from the lens). Good product for the specified purpose . The free light works well.

So far this lens set seems well built. It comes well packaged in a box similar to what a cellphone would come in. The lens itself has some weight to it, and survived an accidental drop to my kitchen floor unscathed. It also incorporates much more of ther scenery into photos, as advertised. The only drawback so far is that it won't work with my phone in its case, but then so far all clip on lights like this have that limitation.I'll update this review as I use it more.

We recently went to Mexico for a family and friends vacation and my buddy Jay has one of these wide-angle lenses. I thought at first that was dumb until he started using it, great on the beach for sunset, we went fishing and had to get everyone in the shot, could not have done it without it.So I bought one and so glad I did. Works great clips on and so easy to use. We tried it out yesterday at our Thanksgiving party where my wife has to take the yearly picture. We did both usual far away for the group and closer up with this gadget. SIMPLY AMAZING. So fun to have and capture life

I cannot use the macro lens at all because it does not clip over my phone case. Another brand does fit over my case but that brand is no longer available on Amazon so I ordered this one based on reviews saying it would fit over the same case I have.The wide angle lens attachment screws onto the macro lens to work together. The lenses came with the wide already screwed on. It was quite difficult to remove from the macro lens and when I was preparing the order for return I could not screw the wide angle back onto the macro... so even if the clip fit on my phone case I would never be able to use the wide angle.Unfortunately I waited a day too late to complete my return (completely my fault) and I can't even give it as a true gift because one lens will not screw on to the other. I will give it to a neighbor child.

The packaging and carrying case that came with the unit was of higher quality than I expected at the price point. The mounting system is especially nice. It makes it very easy to line up the lens to the lens on the phone. Also very important, the mounting system looks pretty foolproof in that it will not cause undue pressure on the phone / phone lens and cause issues.I took several pictures outside and inside to see the effect. The images were clear and there was no vignetting. I am also using it for shooting youtube videos and getting a decent depth of field effect with the focus on a close subject / target.
