These run LARGE! DO NOT USE THE SIZING CHART PROVIDED IN THE DESCRIPTION, ORDER 2 SIZES SMALLER! GREAT CINCHERS!
Bought several of these for the wife and the quality of them is absolutely top notch - she loves them, she looks great in them, and they look great on her. ABOUT THE SIZING! This is ALL IMPORTANT! COMPLETELY DISREGARD THE SIZING CHART THAT IS SHOWN WITH THE ITEM'S DESCRIPTION!!!! VERY IMPORTANT OR YOU'RE GOING TO GET ONE THAT'S FALLING OFF OF YOU!This is a shaper - it's a much easier and convenient to use version of a lacing corset. It's spandex with steel boning, so it holds it's shape and doesn't make you look like a sausage casing wearing it. MEASURE YOURSELF ABOUT AN INCH ABOVE YOUR BELLY BUTTON - THAT IS YOUR TRUE "WAIST" LINE WHEN IT COMES TO THESE SHAPERS! If you measure anywhere else, you're not going to get one that fits. Your pants size, your weight, none of that has anything to do with how this thing is going to fit you - that one measurement alone determines everything here. The product description, being kind, was obviously written by the Chinese importers. The sizes stated and the sizing chart they provide shows the actual size of the shaper when it's just laid out on a table and measured. For example, if you measured your waist and got 38" and order the one on the chart which states it's 38", then it's going to be too big for you, because that shaper is 38" when it's not being worn. It isn't going to cinch you in, it isn't going to give you an hourglass figure, it's just going to cover your mid section and will likely be prone to falling down. The middle section with the three rows of hooks is approximately 2-1/2" wide, so keep that in mind also, and notice, the sizing increments go up and down on their chart about 3" for each size. SO, if you measure your waist and let's say you come up with 38", if you want the shaper to actually shape you and compress you in like a corset, ORDER TWO SIZES SMALLER THAN WHAT IS SHOWN ON THEIR SIZING CHART!!! If you measure 38", order one that says it fits 34 to 36" waists - otherwise, it's not going to do anything. On the loosest set of hooks on that smaller sized cincher, you're only going to be compressing your waist by 2", but you'll have the option of making it more snug if you desire. If you're object is to make yourself look skinnier and get a corset-like effect with a VERY good quality easy to wear cincher, you MUST order two sizes below what is stated on their sizing chart. If you're really wanting to suck things in, go down three sizes, but that just depends on how uncomfortable you want to be. The material is spandex-like and very shiny and smooth - wife has worn hers for hours and these are fantastic - wish they came in more colors and varieties, we would definitely be ordering more!

Good Quality
I read that these aren't necessarily healthy for the internal organs but decided to try it anyway. I got it today.I've been exercising faithfully for a couple of years. My legs are solid and I do see some definition on the sides but the last of the fat on my stomach is just as faithful. I decided to try this. I used the sizing chart and actually got it right. My jeans (that I never wear) are 29 by 34 so I went with the large. I was able to squeeze in to the first set of hooks and am surprised that by tonight I'm on the last set. There is no way I'd recommend working out in this as I need to breathe properly while running. I must've put it on wrong the first time as it left me with a big fat bulge above it on my back. I readjusted it and now it doesn't bulge anymore. Hope this helps me achieve my ultimate lifem long goal.UPDATEI'm already on the last row of a size small. I'm pretty sure it's because they stretch out fairly quickly. Still I do believe it's helping.Second UpdateI've bought a total of four of these :1 Large1 Medium2 SmallThe tightness will last less than 2 weeks if you wear the religiously like I did. I finally noticed why. There's material inside that comes unattached and no amount of washing or anything else will make it keep it's original form.I'm tempted to get one last small because I'm so close to my goal but I think I'll save my money and add more sit ups/leg lifts to my routine.

For me, this waist trainer only partially does its job.
I love the fact that when I put it on, it gives me a distinct hourglass figure if you look at me from the front. It's the side view I have a problem with. Rather than actually sucking in my stomach, it seems to just conform around it. So yes it looks smoother, but it also looks about the same size.I would try to get a size smaller, but I've already gone through that process. Based on the chart given by the seller, I should've gotten a 2XL for my approximately 33" waist. Having read the reviews saying these ran bigger, however, I bought a XL instead. It was too big (I could already fit the 3rd/last row of hooks), so I exchanged it for the L that I currently have (the representative I spoke to was very nice about me wishing to exchange it, though the process was not as easy as I'd hoped). But once again, I'm finding that I can already fit the 3rd row of hooks (and I've only had it for about 5 days now, and no my stomach hasn't shrunk). I'll keep what I've got, but I guess I really needed a M.Overall, I do like the waist trainer; it feels and looks nice and comfortable, gives me a very nice hourglass from the front, and comes with a nice bag. But the fact that I can't seem to get the right size is rather frustrating. If I had a size that actually fit me correctly I would probably give it 5 stars. And no, I wasn't given this for free or a discount for my review.
