Unlike the other four beet powders I've purchased, which fully disclose on the label where the beets are grown and where processed, Premier Research Labs avoids answering this question directly. The lack of transparency is suspect. They say "sourced in the US" but don't clarify if they source dried powder in the US that is made from China-grown beets, and the label says "packaged for Premier," but where beets are packaged or dried does not clarify where they are grown. I emailed the company but received no reply. I see the question has been posted here on Amazon, and the company has not provided a straight answer. Even employees complain of not being provided with basic facts about their products and being given "wishy-washy" scripted answers to provide clients. I tried these because I wanted organic fermented beet powder, and the US & Canada-grown organic beet powders I've purchased have not been fermented. I hoped that the label would state the country of origin, but it does not. I haven't observed any additional energy boost, recovery rate, blood pressure lowering or other benefits from these beets that I haven't with other powders. Two stars for being organic. They had an off-odor. Almost a rancid odor when compared to the other beet powders I have.
