Thermotech Norde is versatile underwear, ideal for use in the autumn/winter period, designed using double-seamless technology, which has extraordinary thermal properties. The underwear features a body mapping system, zones of intensified breathability, that allows thermal regulation and moisture transfer at different points of your body. It also has a temperature control system that protects the body from cooling down or overheating regardless of external influences. Special three-dimensional elastic layers optimise the support and control muscle pressures to ensure better blood flow during physical exertion. Reinforced protective elements can be found on the elbows and knees, which protect from knocks as well as the cold. The seamless structure of the clothing reduces the amount of seams to a minimum, which protects from abrasion. Three-dimensional elasticity ensures perfect freedom of movement. Antibacterial: made with silver ions in the polymer structures, only the fibre, the so-called silver thread, prevents bacterial growth. Recommended disciplines: skiing, mountaineering, winter expeditions, snowboarding, mountain climbing, diving, paragliding. Season: winter, low temperatures. 75 % polyester, 20 % polyamide, 5 % elastane.

Toasty as heck.
So even though they don't really look anything like the pictures, similar but not quite as bright blue as I was expecting, which I think is the only real downside, I really quite enjoy these anyway. I saw the review that mentioned their finger went straight through the material and I nearly didn't order, but I'm glad I did. The material is "thin" but it's not delicate. My assumption was this person was quite heavy handed putting them on, all thermals, tights or otherwise are going to be of this sort of material, so they're breathable and hold in the heat, so as long as you treat them with a reasonable amount of care putting them on you shouldn't have any problems at all.I'm 5ft 3 (or 4 depends on who's measuring me apparently lol) And weigh 12st. I went for a medium and they fit me absolutely spot on.I'll be using these on my motorbike, as I'm riding throughout most of winter. (Shall update with my thoughts once I get out there using 'em.) But they look really promising so far. In the amount of time it took me to take a photo of myself, check my butt out and get back out of them I was extremely warm, sweating even. So these will be PEEERFECT for freezing cold winds on the bike.Very stretchy and comfortable. Tad bit itchy to put on, but once actually wearing them didn't feel itchy, thankfully.Excuse my posing, I can't ever take myself seriously. Ever. All in all, I reckon pretty good value for money.[UPDATE: 20/12/2019] So I've been out on the bike with them, and combining with my winter gear they have certainly helped me feel a lot more comfortable on the bike. I don't feel so bitterly cold. It's still cold lol but it's made it a lot more dealable riding in minus temperatures. So I'd say worth it !

I am surprised about some of the negative customer reviews ...
... since this base layer is actually doing its job. I used it on a motorcycle for 2 years while commuting and it kept me warm. One thing that might confuse/put off people is the way it achieves it. When you put it own, it is like squeezing into a sausage skin. It this very tight and very light, but it keeps you warm. I bought last winter another set of thermal underwear at Aldi. Aldi's set works differently. Is is like nylon pyjamas which you put on. More bulk, but easier to put on and it does the same job.Basically: if you want to work or do sports: the Norde set is better. You squeeze in, it has minimal bulk and it keeps you warm. If you don't move much, something like the "Aldi pyjamas" are better because they are easier to put on but have more bulk which would be in the way if you intend to do work or do sports. Horses for courses, really. However, there is nothing wrong with the Norde set and it does it's job well.

Not recommended. I went to try the leggings for size and because the material is that thin my index finger went right through the material. Crap.

VERY PLEASED
Very pleased with these after using under a ski gear. Breath easy and are thin enough so once on feel as though you are wearing nothing. After several washes they are still in good condition .
