Awesome product for a dedicated Poke-hunter!
I owned the original Pokémon Go Plus, and have to say this is a nice upgrade! Firstly, it's much more stylish looking, it could pass for a watch and an adult can get away without looking dorky (even if we ARE dorky for playing this game...). Second, I find it functionally better in that when in range of a Pokémon, gym or Poké-stop, it just works automatically!! No more pressing a button each time to make it work. You can turn the vibration off as well as make it silent. It feels a bit "pay to win", but then isn't that what we're paying for?? Lol.An over-looked component is the stardust... If you're a serious player and upgrade your Pokémon a lot, stardust can be too slow to come by, this device helps fix that! With the automated spinning of stops and catching, it's like stardust "passive income", it just accumulates on its own. To get the most of this item, make sure you have a lot of item space, Pokémon storage and LOTS or red-balls! You'll need to go through your Pokemon from time to time to get rid of the ones you don't want. You'll also want to destroy and items in your bag you don't want to keep to make room for the ones you do.Is this for you? Is it worth buying? If you don't have regular access to Poké-stops/gyms to get items from, you probably won't get enough items to really keep the cycle going. I used to work next to a stop, and then I moved to a different state and live in an apartment complex with BOTH a stop and gym in range4 of my home!! I'm golden and this is awesome for me!! Even if you can fill up on items while working, then use them when you're free, it's worth it. Other idea is to walk around parks or malls with lots of gyms and stops, and you can make good use of this. You can turn different functions on and off within the app so you can collect resources to fill your bag without catching Pokémon, or if you're full, can set to JUST catch Pokémon, or even to ONLY catch Pokémon you don't have!! Just keep in mind, if you have a pretty good collection, you may not be catching anything because the remaining ones are hard to find as well as you ONLY use red-balls, which have the lowest catch rate of the balls.Disadvantages... Frequent disconnects like experienced with the original Pokémon Go Plus is still a thing. I think part of it is a timer that we aren't able to see so you can't be connected for hours long sessions and you're forced to go into the game to set it again, as well as interference sometimes being a cause. Get too far from your device, you drop signal. I also heard from other reviews that the face if the item is easily scratched. I'd tempted to put some clear tape over it to protect it, but I have yet to do so. I don't rely on the display images to do the things I need to know and my phone gives me all the notifications I need (which I made silent so it wasn't constantly making noise). In closing, I bought two of these, one for each of my accounts. One is blue, the other is red, which goes with my accounts team colors (too bad they didn't make a yellow one, maybe get gray for that). I use my accounts to knock each other out of the gym after 8-hours-and-20-minutes so I get the full 50 coins on each account each day for upgrades and remote raid passes. I recommend the Poke Genie app (I know it's on iOS, not sure if it's on Android) to check PvP IV scores to see which battle league (if any) your Pokémon are good for, as well as to join raids remotely. Good luck Poké-hunters! (Oh, and this device retails for around $50, don't pay $70 or more anywhere for this!! No reason to get ripped off)

Expensive Garbage
I've read good reviews of this product. It's so confusing to me.I don't know why it costs $65. It just doesn't work. I downloaded the app, I suppose it did the "firmware update" when it synced. The instructions said it would.Went in game. I thought it would just work right away then, but no it doesn't. Could not figure out how to add it to the Pokemon Go plus. EVENTUALLY if I waited long enough on the Pokemon Go Plus screen it lists the device at the bottom, but I didn't find any instruction on that part. And then it refused to connect to the device. un-pair. Re-pair. Wait for the device to show up in Pokemon Go Plus. Click. Finally adds. Sheesh. So I thought it would work. It doesn't. It adds a little icon on the main map screen for the device (not explained anywhere that it does that). Fine. It's grayed out. But I click on it not knowing what it is. Oh it turns on the Gotcha. So now I know to click on that when I want to enable the gotcha. (Why the heck was that not ------- explained either? I don't know. Why explain that in a manual when people can struggle to figure out how it works in game). It turns gray and quits working almost immediately. So I click the little icon to enable the gotcha. It spins it spins it spins. Unable to connected. I forget the device. I re-pair it. Try two or three times to Re-add it to Pokemon go Plus. Finally do. Click on the gray button in game. It spins and the gotcha is enabled.Great, enabled. That is LITERALLY THE ONLY THING it is supposed to do. >:-( THE BAR OF SUCCESS AND MY HAPPINESS IS JUST THAT IT WORKS IN GAME. It does a few spin stops. Catches about 4 pokemon. It turns off like 3 minutes later!!!!I have to continually sync it all the time. Continually un-pair, re-pair, re-add. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh >:-@I don't get it. Maybe mine is faulty. I'd like to return it and get a second one, but I don't know, it makes me so angry. IT COST $65 DOLLARS TO DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I just went back to manually catching and doing spin stops right away. And if that's the case. WHY DID I BUY THIS STUPID THING!!?!?!?!?! >:-@Maybe I just bought a faulty hardware. I don't understand why there are any good reviews. I think it is awful. I hate it. I'm angry. It's sitting on a desk not being used. I need to go through the hassle of returning it and taking it down to the UPS store to mail back to Amazon. My advice is just to play the game manually and NOT BUY THIS STUPID PIECE OF GARBAGE. $65!!!!! FOR NOTHING!!!!But maybe mine is faulty and yours is amazing and my experience is just my angry experience. I really was excited to get this in the mail. I can't believe what an unpositive experience it has been for me. Like a black hole that eats joy and happiness. I would throw it on the ground and jump up and down on it, but it's $65 lol. I'll return it. :-P I just am uber annoyed at the product. I can't believe how badly it works. How can a company sell something for 2/3 of a $100 per item to deliver something that is worth $0 and a negative experience? It boggles my mind. If it had cost $10.99 I would've just chalked it up to an "oh well you tried" and thrown it away disappointed. But I can't believe I paid so much for something that doesn't work.
