A literal Life Saver!
I keep one packet in my wallet, one in my wife's purse, one in the car.As much for a stranger's disaster as for our own. With some sort of binding it will stop even arterial bleeding and keep you alive till EMS arrives.

Hate to use it, but glad I had it
So, ever grab a more convenient tool instead of the correct one and cause yourself an injury? That's what happened to me. Ended up cutting my left index finger to the bone with a Leatherman Wave multitool, applied pressure for nearly 10 minutes with little success at stopping the bleeding.Grab my booboo IFAK I keep in my duty bag and pull out the Celox. Sprinkled it on the wound and wrapped in gauze, bleeding stopped QUICK. It did cause the gauze to get stuck to the wound which was a pain to remove later down the road, but I was impressed. It's perfect for those more than a band-aid but less that a tourniquet situations. It was also painless, no burning or other unpleasant sensations. This stuff is a great addition to any home, car, work or camping first aid kit. It's simple, requires no previous knowledge or training and can pay for itself by saving you one trip to the ER. 5 stars in my book.

Happy Buyer
I keep this in my range bag in case there's an accidental gunshot wound at my firing range while I'm there. The expiration date is 2.5 years out, so no complaints from me on that point, as other reviewers were upset about their particular expiration date. Yes, it's a "package of five" that comes in a simple plastic bag... which doesn't matter to me at all, as that was a sticking point for some others. The actual packets are still a real product. I'm considering buying more to have on hand in various places such as cars and RV's because, even though these are intended for gunshot treatments, they can still be used for other types of punctures and cut wounds that can occur in the course of life.

This stuff works!
This does what it is intended to do. Stops bleeding! Read the instructions and follow them and it will do its job. I’m on blood thinners, so any major (or minor cut) can be an issue. I keep this stuff available in the car and at home. I cannot recommend it enough. It comes ready to go into any medical emergency kit you might have. Yeah, its not cheap but is cheaper than a visit to the er if you just need to stop bleeding. If you’ve got a major injury, by all means go to the Emergency Room and you can use this as a stop gap to get you there.

Be sensible
Ordered Nov 2020, arrived with all 5 packages stamped with expiration 06/2023.I'm not sure why people are freaking out that they come in a ziplock baggie and not ... I dunno, some fancy box with piccies on the front or whatever. For me, I don't care nearly as much about the wrapping as I do the thing I paid for, and this looks legit so far.Yes, it looks like it's a repack by the seller (BP Medical), cos if you check the Celox site itself, these come in bulk packages of 200. You need 200? You going to go through 200 of them in 3-4 years?

Saved my dog’s life.
I bought these for my survival/backpacking bag. I have them in a watertight first aide box. I haven’t used Celox on a human, but I came home after my dogs had a pretty vicious fight and my pointer’s ears were bleeding literal POOLS of blood. I tried pressure and bandages to no avail. I remembered the celox and opened one of the packs...used alittle. Stopped immediately. Gave her a lot of water, an antibiotic, and after a few days of rest she was all better.

CELOX IS A LIFESAVER
Celox saved my fur babies life. We live in a rural area 45+ minutes from the closest emergency animal hospital. One of my fur babies had surgery and late one night his wound opened and blood began pouring out. I used gauze and towels but couldn't stop the bleeding. I then grabbed one packet of Celox, sprinkled it in his wound, and within 3 minutes all of the bleeding stopped. Celox is an amazing product that should be in everyone's first aid kit.
