First Cover I ordered was Great- had a pull Strap...
First Cover was Great- even had pull "Strap"... not just a pull string, but, actually a STRAP (like tie-downs) that had this bad-boy installed in 39 seconds, and tightly. That strap is now missing in the Buy it Again images, (or, since, removed, I cannot recall when I ordered a 2nd one.) I ordered a 2nd (via Buy it Again,) but this one came with just a pull-STRING... It will not even pull thru to tighten- it even ripped (see images.) Not sure if they have since changed their product-line, or what, but def not the same product as I received in October 2021. (Which, again, was great!) I will just duct-tape this one, I guess- too much hassle to even return.

Protect the turbine
This turbine was easy to put on the roof turbine. My husband said it was easy and helped to keep the warm air from escaping our attic.

Keeping the water out.
I used a bungee cord just to make sure it stayed snug during wind storms. Seems to be working just fine.

Heavy Duty
It's black, heavy duty, sized perfect for my type. Some difficulty snuggging up with the draw-string due to stiffness of new heavy duty material and I suppose the tightness of the sown channel.

Drawstrings Make Cover Unusable
Never even got to use the covers. Unpackaged them. Determined they will fit over the 14" Lomanco vents I use. Tried the drawstrings on each cover with same results. First, the drawstrings pull from inside the cover which is idiotic. Secondly, there's not enough slack to get a good grip on the strings. Thirdly, the drawstrings don't draw tight. The material will go a couple inches and bunch up. Unbelievable! Nice color, material feels very durable.

Not having to climb on the roof every two months to replace ven hood cover.
Excelente cover, the northern wind would not blow it away, this is my third cover I had purchased, and this is the only one the would stay put.

Only lasted a few months.
One of the two covers became extremely weatherbeaten after just one season. It faded to a light grey and shredded. The other cover also faded, but did not shred (but did blow off the turbine). See picture.

Doing what I bought them for
I live in Alberta where high winds can be a problem. Never mind hail storms. Had wind turbines blown off in storms. Bought new ones and bought these covers to protect them during fall and winter storms. Probably could have bought smaller size but my turbines were 12" pipe and actual turbine was about 17" across. Draw string doesn't sinch up as tight as I had hoped so I added a bungy cord around the bottom. So far so good. Added a piece of quilted moving blanket on turbine to protect from hail. Have had a couple good wind storms with no issues. Will remove in late spring to allow air flow during warmer times but will be on again come fall. Very happy with purchase.
