Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs

This book arrived at my grandson's address in excellent condition. I purchased this for a little boy who LOVES pirates and we both saw this title at the back of his favourite book at the moment...Mungo and the Bedtime Pirates. I pay a lot for postage to Australia ($20) but when I talk to my three year old and he tells me all about it and when I KNOW he loved having the mailman give him his own parcel and how many times he reads the book.....it's all worth it!I would recommend this book to anyone who has a special little person in their lives who enjoy you reading with them and who LOVES pirates.Thank you for making my little boy and I very happy. We will be for a long time.....

My nephew LOVES this book - we've read it countless times and he has parts memorized. I found this when looking for books with good vocabulary. The vocab used is pretty good though not as impressive as I was hoping for. Still a great book!!!

My two year old is obsessed with dinosaurs, we have taken out and read just about every dinosaur book in our library and book store. I have to be honest, not all of them are great books. This book combines two loves of both of our boys (we have a 4 year old as well), and while this combination isn't always a sure bet in other books, in this book, it's amazing!This book is fun, funny, and feel good- it's rare that an author can take two loves and make them better, and that an illustrator can show it so well!

My 3yo son discovered this series at a local library and when he received it you'd think it was tickets to Disney.

Funnest book ever. A children's classic. I am a preschool teacher and give this as a gift quite often. You won't regret it! "They weren't just ordinary pirates, they were pirate dinosaurs!"

Our 4-year-old nephew is obsessed with dinosaurs, so we thought this could be a great book series to get him started on. The story and artwork were pretty fun. It's a little on the longer side for that age range, but he sat through the whole thing. We'll probably continue to purchase him books in the series!

If you want to write a children's book and hit all the "in" topics at once, apparently you write a story about kids that enter a secret world through the back of the school supply closet and help a pirate reclaim his ship from dinosaurs who stole it. Whew!

Our five year old Kindergartener requests all these pirate books by Giles Andreas to be read over and over. He never tires of listening to these stories.

All pages intact, arrived in good time, packaged so it could go through the letter box. A secondhand book that has obviously been well loved. My 4 year old granddaughter actually likes the fact that someone's name is in the book. We've had to invent a back story for him! The illustrations are great, the story is good for reading aloud but sensitive 4 year olds may find it a little scary so maybe not a bedtime read.

The first of two pirate dinosaur books I bought my 2 year old daughter and she loves them! She has a lot of both pirates and dinosaurs and has great fun pointing things out. The book can get a little hectic in places which can be a little distracting but at the same time, a very good tool for imaginative storytelling. The illustrations are bright and it's easy to put a lot of energy into the reading. In all a very good book for youngsters and a pleasure to read.

My son is obsessed with dinosaurs and loves pirates so this was a match made in heaven for him. Loves it!!

Bit of a mosh mash of a story. Seems like it's trying too hard to combine the 2 elements of pirates and dinosaurs.

Great story but badly damaged , torn and back pages stuck together.
