My cats took right to this cave. I ordered 2, one for each cat. One of my cats weighs 18 pounds (the one on the tower) and the other 13 pounds. Both fit easily in their individual cave. It is very well made. There were no funny smells from the wool. This product is expensive in my opinion, more so when buying two, but I can tell you they are worth the investment. You get what you pay for. I don't see these ever wearing out. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

We have a 16lb Siberian cat and he absolutely loves this (and has no problems fitting into it). Within 60 seconds of pulling it out of the shipping box, he stuck his head into it and then crawled right in and curled up. We wish we would have bought this sooner! Quality construction is thick and yet the cave is flexible enough to pack into a smaller box if needed. Nice understated design that blends well with household decor - it is like a piece of modern art.

The description gave me pause: $70 for a cat cave made with New Zealand wool and handcrafted by Nepalese artisans.. Sounds hipster fancy, but I'm glad I decided to go with it.This is the only item I've ever purchased for my cats that they liked better than the packaging. They were inside before I even had a chance to take the tags off. I had to order a second to keep them from arguing over it.My long, big female is around 20 pounds and there's plenty of room for her to turn around and cuddle up. I included a picture of her inside of it to show just how much room she has.The vibrancy of the blue really depends on the lighting. I have two in different spots, and they look different even though when compared side by side they're the same.As for cleaning, on the second day, one hacked up a hair ball inside of it. It wiped up easily with a damp cloth and I gave it a quick vacuum. There's no residue left and there hasn't been any lingering odors.Update: about a month after I purchased this, one of my cats became ill. The cave in the living room became his favorite spot-- he was able to keep an eye on everything while still feeling safe and secure. Subsequently, the cave developed a strong odor which I was able to take care of by vacuuming it, wiping it out with a damp cloth, and spraying it was fabreeze. After leaving it on the porch for a day to air out, it was as good as new.And as it's winter here, one of the caves I purchased is now serving time folded into its basket form with a round cushion set on it. I placed it in front of one of the radiators and it's become prime real estate. These things are so much more attractive than cardboard boxes and just as popular with my cats.

Our cats loved this cave from the moment I opened the box a few days ago. There is always a cat snoozing in it! Our largest cat is 22 pounds and he had no trouble getting inside. We might need another one; I wish there were other colors in this brand.

My cat and I think that this is a wonderful, innovative idea.They are expensive, but worth the money! I would definitely buy again, and will probably do so when the new kitten arrives.Another reviewer wrote that these caves collapse easily and end up being used as mats. They do. It is not difficult to correct.Just reach inside and open it up again.If the manufacturer would simply change the position of the hole, lowering it five inches and putting it on the side, rather than near the top, there would be no problem like this. Cats could enter and exit without collapsing the cave. The illustration shows a side hole, but my cat cave's opening is much nearer the top.There are many felted cat caves on Etsy, and the best have a side hole, rather than a top hole. Just a small design adjustment, please?

I bought this before going to bed and by 8 am sunday morning, it arrived! Amazon prime is an amazing thing. I've had my eye on a felted cat cave for some time now and I finally went for it. I am completely satisfied with my purchase so far. My cat absolutely loves this thing! He immediately began checking it out. I swear i'd believe you if you told me they soaked it in catnip. He likes to rub his face on it, bite it, scratch it. So far it seems very durable and we will see with time how it holds up to my crazy 12lb maine coon. He likes it both flat and open, as a cave. He isn't really the type to hide in small dark spaces, boxes, or any cat houses...but he LOVES this cat cave.The price does make it more of a luxury purchase, but the quality and my cats satisfied purrs make it completely worth it!My only con is that there is a limited color selection available at the moment. (Grey and blue)

UNBELIEVABLE! i ordered this for my 10 pound dog. she is normally very skittish and it takes a while for her to get used toanything...but she immediately went into the opening (and i mean IMMEDIATELY - literally as i was taking it out of the plastic bag andtrying to shape it) ....and has not come out. she is making all kinds of happy noises and is firmly ensconced in there. i havenever seen anything like it. if she were a cat, i would think it was embedded with catnip or something...don't know exactly what it is about this product is so alluring to my dog - but she is one happy dog! thanks!!UPDATE: Turned out I had to return the product (my dog's issue - NOT the product's) and this company's CUSTOMER SERVICE is extraordinarily courteous and responsive. They are definitely good to their word and honor their guarantee and quickly. I will definitely continue to shop their beautiful products and recommend them to all of my friends. Its rare to find a company with great products and so much integrity!

This is a wonderful, high-quality cat cave -- my 16lb. tuxedo cat has adopted it as his favorite place to snooze or just lounge. At first, he liked to crawl in and curl up, but it didn't take him long to figure out that he could step on the top and collapse it into a saucer. He rates it 4-paws up!

I have a large cat (22lbs) and he doesn't fit through the hole. You can flatten the cave and use it as a bed, but there's still the hole so it looks a little awkward.
