ACCUSPLIT AE520S Table Top Digital Timer

This is used daily in a laboratory. A big feature for us is that it can count in seconds beyond 60--we do not have to convert 3:41 to 221 seconds, saving us a step. The buttons work with a solid click. It is better and cheaper than the stopwatch it replaced.

As the title says, unfortunately I now have problems 3 weeks after receiving it. I went to set the clock for daylight savings and it would not let me. Then I tried using the stopwatch timer function, and that is not working either. I thought maybe it's the battery, since the one they give you with it is a generic-looking one, but even putting in a brand-new known brand C cell doesn't help. One thing I noticed when I replaced the battery is that I get a high pitched static sound for about 5 seconds, then it goes away. I don't recall that happening the first time I put the battery in. Anyway, I stupidly threw away the box it came in so I now have to send it back to Accusplit instead of returning to Amazon. I called the support number to see if there was any thing else I could try, and although the gentleman I spoke to was nice he didn't even try to help. He just immediately gave me the address to send it back to. I will update this review once I get my clock back from Accusplit. As of now I'm very disappointed that it didn't even last a month.

The first one is still working perfectly... So, I bought another one. That was asking too much!! Only the top half of the numbers were showing. Amazon refunded swiftly

I use this for workouts. The timers, stopwatch and countdown timer are perfect. It has also lived through a very hot summer in the garage which every stopwatch I've had did not make it!

I bought this item for our engine shop because we needed something easy to use to keep track of job time. This item worked better than we had hoped. It is easy to use and just large enough to not disappear and small enough to not get in the way.

Bought this timer for the large display. The clock is inaccurate. I have it sitting next to my computer and when I change the batteries on the timer, all is good and time is the same as the time on my computer. I changed the batteries recently thinking maybe they were weak. because the time was wrong. The clock on the timer is now 6 minutes ahead of the time on my computer.

Its not the most expensive timer around ,but its well made and serves the purpose when your school clock breaks down..
