overall it seems sturdy enough, the lid is probably the only issue in terms of how thin it is. It looks as if it will wear out rather fast but it is air tight.Comes with everything it needs and a good quality tap, I really like it.Clear measurements on the outside and so far doing the job.

I bought this bucket mainly for bottling because it has a tap - and I wanted to use it with a bottling wand to make bottling easier, and for that purpose it's worked out just fine, so no real complaints. I've marked the ratings down a bit because it arrived without any packaging, just wrapped in a couple of layers of thin clingfilm and lucky it wasn't damaged. The tap and airlock were also without any packaging - banging around loose inside the bucket along with shards of plastic from where the hole had been drilled for the tap to fit into. Once tidied up, the tap fits perfectly but - Not a great first impression.

This product has worked well for brewing up some Cider. I was able to draw off liquid without disturbing the lees. No leakage at all from the tap. Things to bear in mind: as mentioned elsewhere - you need to ensure the supplied washer is fitted on the outside of the bucket. The lid is flimsy but did well -have to pull directly upwards to remove. A hole was badly drilled in the top so the seal with the airlock was not perfect. Also tap extends beyond the bottom so you have to rest this on a shelf. Otherwise works well.

Item is about what you would expect for the price. However the lid was damaged, this may have been in postage as packaging was like thick cling film. Rather than return and replace, I arranged with the seller to just send a new lid, saving time and money. The new lid however did not have the gromit or hole in it, but was rather simple to drill out by hand with a wood drill bit.Overall a more complex purchase than normal, but the end result was satisfactory.

Good bucket for the price as includes an airlock and spigot tap. It is semi- translucent and the lid has a tight snap fit. The handle is ok, but I wouldn't recommend moving the bucket about too much with a heavy volume level.

Happy with everything, however there is only one rubber washer and no instructions whether to put the washer on the inside or the outside when assembling the tap. It leaks if you put it on the inside, and doesn’t if you put it on the outside. So there you go. Otherwise, my hooky alcohol is bubbling away quite happily in there with no issues

The lid is not airtight so I cannot use it without spoiling my beer. Weighing it down isn't an option either unfortunately.
