Best LED option for frosted glass fixtures
These are a great, energy-efficient replacement for traditional halogen GU10 bulbs. They are significantly brighter with a much wider throw angle, so they provide quite a bit more light per fixture. We regularly keep ours dimmed to about 75% because they’re so bright. Even though they are listed as 2700k, they feel more like bright white than the halogen alternative. At full brightness there is not a noticeable difference, but at the dimmest settings halogens turn a warm orange color, while these stay the same soft white all the way down.My fixtures have a frosted glass housing, so I’ve spent a lot of time looking for an LED option that would throw a little light to the side and illuminate the housing. The glass casing on these does allow a little light to reflect back along the sides, and in my fixtures the frosted glass glows slightly, but it’s nothing like the original halogen bulbs that provide a bright hot spot on the side. I don’t think there’s an LED GU10 out there that will look just like halogens in a frosted fixture, but these are the best option I’ve found.

Yes fully dimmable nice color for 2700k
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. We originally bought 5000k dimmable from another brand were too white for our liking (did not dim to zero ), so we bought this Pack of 10, 2700K Soft White which looks like halogen yellow tint almost exactly (fooled my daughter when they were side by side lit) . They are as close to my original halogens as I could expect and dimmed all the way down to zero. no buzzing or flicker that i could see. Pardon the noise in the background daughter in the other room with hair dryer haaa. only had them a few days no problems. will update if i do have any issues. Some dimmer switches dont go to zero including mine but these bulbs will likely dim down to zero with any dimmer switch. also some dimmers are adjustable under the cover plate see pictures (this is the switch i have). I'm a contractor/ electrician +.

Brighter but not as pretty, does not light up glass globe so the ceiling is darker
PRO:They project more light to my kitchen surfaces and floor than my regular halogen 50w gu10 bulbs.I have 10 bulbs in my kitchen so now they only use a total of 55w instead of 500w so they will defintely save on electric bill. I veeified it on my electric meter.the bulbs do not look any different when not on, just look like a normal bulb. no LED stuff visible.CON:I got the 5000k Daylight bulbs so they would be brighter not the 2700k Soft white. as a result the light cast is not yellow but industrial white. they will take a while to get use to.I was hoping they would light up the decorative glass globe fixture like my old halogen bulbs did. the old ones have a clear base that light reflects out of and lights the glass fixture. these new bulbs are clear too but no light or not much is emmited to the sides to light it up.because the base of the new bulbs do not emmit light to light up the glass fixture the ceiling area is darker and does not reflect any light from the fixture. so the ceiling is dark now.see picture that has four bulbs. two on left are the new daylight LED and generate more light under them. but the two on the right are incandescent and do not generate as much light downward but do light up the glass much better for a more decorative effect of rhe fixture in general. we miss that.

Currently the best GU10 LED bulbs
Really like these bulbs. I bought and tested 4 different GU10 LED bulbs on Amazon and these are the best overall. Good, even cast, accurate color (i bought the 2700k version), no loud buzz, dims to practically zero with Lutron Diva dimmer. Size and design most closely matches traditional halogen bulb as well which helps with compatibility. And to top it off, the price is pretty good to. My new favorite bulb and has de-throned Hyperikon in my view. Hyperikons have very similar color, but the new ones don't dim quite as well and have a little more buzz.

Gets HOT. LEDs? yes... poor step down voltage design.
Nice color. These Bulbs get very hot. LEDs don’t produce much heat, so it must be the voltage step down circuit/components generating the heat. They get hot enough they are not comfortable to handle until they cool 15 minutes. 3 failed within 3 weeks. One was a replacement for a failed unit and it in turn failed within 45 minutes. Bad design. This happened in a bedroom ceiling fan and a dining room fixture. The ceiling fan does not have any power limiter in it, so it’s straight 110v to the bulbs. If you already bought these, please check them!

2 bulbs failed
I have bought the 2700k bulbs. They give out a beautiful light, very similar to the halogens we had earlier. Bright enough and makes everything very shiny and sparkly. Love the light itself. However, in 2 weeks 2 bulbs failed. I contacted the seller and they would not send me replacement bulbs. Because I knew I am just out of the return window (installed them a little later than I bought them) I was even willing to pay for the 2 items, just to ensure that the 2 bulbs I will put in my light fixture are the same as the rest. They would not work with me on that either. I ended up receiving back the cost of the 2 bulbs (~$6), but it was not a solution that really works for me. I appreciate that at least I received the cost back, however, I now have to search high and low for the same bulbs and would not be able to find them for that cost either, if bought single..... yes, I could buy 10 pcs again from the same seller, but I do not feel comfortable giving more business to them after this experience with them.

WOW -- My Introduction to LED
No window kitchen. Incandescent and flourescent lights don't cut it. Got these bulbs today for track lights in my kitchen. I have two tracks which were not helpful. I installed three of these bulbs in the three bulb track and it all came to life. I can see what is on my stovetop now. I will install remaining 7 bulbs on the other track and expect to have to use the dimmer switch. Light is crisp, bright, and daylight. The vendor includes a url address to register one's purchase! I have read reviews which say that the vendor is very responsive.

Happy
I gotta say that I was very skeptical about these LED bulbs giving enough light since they're only 5.5W, but they really do give plenty of light. Installed these in a 3 head track light in the kitchen area and they're way better than I expected. I'm happy with them.

Decent replacement for warm temperature halogen bulbs! Reliability may vary though
I got these to replace the halogen bulbs in my living room and kitchen pot lights. Their colour temperature (I got the 2700k version) matches the halogens quite well. I paired them with a Wemo dimmer, and at their lowest, they're almost as bright as the halogens were when switched on (without the dimmer) - at their brightest, they appear to produce considerably more light. I feel that they could be dimmer at their lowest setting, but I can't necessarily complain here, since there's no proper way to compare. Overall, can definitely recommend them - will update this review if I run into any issues/concerns!**EDIT (2018-12-15)**: So far, I've had 2 bulbs fail on me.**EDIT (2019-03-02)**: The Mastery Mart customer service reached out and offered a replacement. Very impressed by the support - I definitely encourage anyone having troubles to reach out to them!

Solid set of LEDs, saying goodbye to halogens
We had stuck with halogens for probably longer than we should've for our track lighting, but as we change our households lighting to LED one by one it was a eventual changeover. The price for LEDs have become very competitive as in the past there was quite a big price gap and more incentive to stay with halogens. I'll stress that the competitive price point seems to be inclusive to brands such as these on Amazon, as I couldn't find anything this affordable at say Canadian Tire. These were slated to replace our 50W halogen bulbs, and thus far they are doing a tremendous job.The aesthetics of the light produced is a bit different, not as sharp and cutting but more of a glow and spread - we quite like it. Aside from the energy savings, it's also not volcano hot and it's supposed to last a lot longer - the halogens we have seemed to need replacing very often. Also worth noting that they Energy Star and UL certified. If it does as it says, it will likely outlast our tracking lighting itself. The set came very fast and very well packaged. So much so that I thought it warranted a picture shoutout. Sometimes you get things from off brands here and it comes in the most questionable of presentation, but this felt professional grade. The lights themselves feel solid too, so far we're very pleased - bright, comfortable, no lag, flickering or buzzing of any kind.

The best halogen replacement
I have been looking for months to replace my halogen bulbs with Led. I have tried some models but they were always too white and bright when dimmed. Theses Led reproduce the warm effect of halogens perfectly. At 100% I can't see any difference, and when dimmed they are a little more blue than halogen, but still very effective. I can dimme from 100% to 0% with my Leviton dimmer. Bought 50 of them for the whole house, they all works like a charm. Very satisfied!I tried to take a video to show the dimmed led but with the auto brightness of the phone we can't see the difference.

Good price
Ensure you order the right number of bulbs for your need. Following a first order, I have ordered another box - those new bulbs are not dimming at the same sequence as those I had ordered months ago.
