This is so cool!!! Used for heating a bunny house 🐰
We put this in our friend’s bunny house because he had their heat on 24/7 and it was waaaay to warm during the day. We were bunny sitting for 2 weeks and were pretty disturbed by this and very worried they would get too hot and have a heat stroke. We turned off his big heater and left the small one on so it cooled way down while waiting for this. It arrived and we set up both heaters on this with a splitter. It was so easy to set up! I highly recommend this product!!! We looked up the average temps of bunnies for comfort and set it in a range with a 5 degree window right in the middle of the ideal range which was a lot cooler than what the temps were. After doing this, we freed up another outlet so we could plug his fan back in for better air flow. Everyday we checked on them, everything was working perfectly and the temp was very nice.

Work Perfectly, but...
I would love to recommend this product, it "could" save electricity and pay for itself, BUT, the people in my house are too lazy to use it. They like just turning the heater full ON and leaving it on till the room gets HOT. Then they complain the room is too hot. I ask them why they don't use this device and they claim that when you use this device the room doesn't heat up as quickly. I call BS, but in the end, my family refuses to use it, so it was a waste of money.

Helped my AC be a lot more consistent!
The initial setup wasn't too bad. I use it to control a basic ac that has a rotary knob for a thermostat. It used to be really bad like it would turn on at 77 degrees and turn off at 70 degrees... then not turn back on until past 80 degrees. Very uncomfortable. This solves that without needing to replace my ac. Now I can easily set it to turn on at 75 degrees and off at 74 and it is very consistent and easy to change the numbers. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that it has some other features that aren't easy to figure out. The delay feature is easy, but mostly unnecessary. The other ones I just can't seem to learn. When keeping the basic functionality in mind, it works perfectly and I love it. It does exactly what I was hoping for it to do. Would be nice if it came with starter batteries.

Works great for fine tuning temperature
I’m using this on a self starting kerosene/diesel torpedo heater in a drafty/uninsulated workshop. The heater has a build in temperature controller however (1) it can only dial in via 10 degree increments and (2) the heater temperature sensor is dependent on the location of the heater- the heater will be continuously running regardless of the temperature setting if the heater is outside pointing in.So basically this thing addresses some of these issues:1. The temperature sensor on the remote monitors the temperature. I keep it near where I’m working.2. More precise temperature range for controlling the heater- keeps me warm and also saves on fuel.3. Runs up to 15 amps.. like my heater.4. Handy remote control.5. Remote lights up when any button is pressed, great when I’m working in poorly lit areas. It’s a good deal and works exactly as described.

Warning! Safety hazard! Over Heating, Will cause fire
I purchased this device to control my De'Longhi Oil space heater. I had this heater for a few years, it works great except the on heater temperature control won't get accurate readings since it's on the heater. Then I purchased this "DIGITEN Wireless Temperature Controlled Outlet" and hoped for a better 'control'. I have noticed the heater's electric wire gets very hot after being plugged into this device. Then I had to stop using it. A few days later, my daughter was in the basement where this device was located, she turned on the heater and started to do her homework until she fall asleep. Then she woke up because of the burning smell and smoke. Fortunately, I was home, and immediately turned off all the power in the basement. The surge protector where this plug was plugged in was almost melted and my wife tossed it away immediately and I forgot to take a picture of it. You can see yourself for the burned plug and feel how dangerous it was and how close it was to set my house on fire.

great little controller
My husband uses this on a portable oil heater for our dogs. They have their own shed/doghouse that they stay in during the day where they have total access to the back yard and less unattended access to the entire house. They already have a swap cooler in there for the summer, so this year we added the heater.

One big problem
This has a couple unique features that lured me to buy it vs. another brand. However, I don't recommend it. For you it might be fine. The unique features are that you can set a temp range. You can have a fan come on at 74* but not go off until 72*. I will say that a simpler model I have only has a set or target temp. I actually prefer that simplicity and didn't have constant on off issues. The other unique feature is the delay feature. If you use this with a small (watch your wattage rating) air conditioner (5000 or 6000 BTU) it will turn the entire unit off. Not just the compressor. So to prevent a restart too early, the delay feature can be set for 3 minutes or so.BUT....here is the rub. The dang screen illumination is soooo bright that during the night if you want to adjust the temp, you will go blind looking at this screen. Plus it is a three step process to adjust the temp. A big pain. All while going blind trying to set it.The simple model is much more convenient for night time bedside window fan control. I can adjust the temp with just one touch and the screen brightness is perfect. Day or night.Sorry but I don't recommend this one.

I didn't know these existed -- now I use it all the time!
A "brick" heater in my trailer had incredibly poor temperature regulation due to the thermostat being right next to the heater. I was thinking about building an elaborate system to have a remote thermostat before it occurred to me that such a thing might already be available. It turns out that it was available and works beautifully! To be honest, I've not used it for the heater yet, but it works great for a window fan and the window air conditioner. For the window A/C I like the fact that the it shuts it completely off rather than the fan rattling when the compressor isn't running. A wider gap between on and off, along with an adjustable time-out to ensure it doesn't cycle too often has made things work better than I ever expected. The remote/thermostat is across the room and temperature regulation is better than it ever has been. Now I might have to buy another one for my trailer -- and I'm sure one of them will be used during the cooler months for the supplemental heater in my office. My view might be skewed a bit due to my being a control systems engineer -- meaning that I might be drawn to gadgets in my field, but also I recognize that this device serves a purpose and does it well.

Beeps all the time. But you can make it stop with a hack.
Got this for a plug-in radiator. Works like a charm. However, beeps when the temperature is too high and too low. You have to 'press any key' to make it stop - every time!To fix this, I took it apart and removed the beepy bit. This probably voids the warranty or something, but it still works perfectly. If you want to do it, undo the four teeny-tiny screws and get some needle-nose pliers and twist the top of the black thing that sticks up. Looks like a very small battery but it's black plastic. Easily cracks off.

Worth it for price!
The price of this product makes it affordable and worth the price you are getting it for. It is easy to use and set with little use. My only complaint would be its cheaper build quality and the need to screw it into the wall.

Simple to use accurate to your location
This unit is rated at 14a instead of 15a like the more expensive units so as long as you don't run it at 1500w you will be okay. You really should be running a space heater at 1500W all the time anyway I run my oil-filled at 600w to 900w it's safer and takes a bit longer to get warm but it's fine once maintaining. This with a fan to help move the air heats my basement no problem and turns the fan and heater off with one button I love it. been using it for 2 weeks with no problems.Update: The device lags turning on the heater sometimes leaving the room cooler than I like so I found I need to bump up the run/stop by 1 Deg F/0.5C to compensate for this. If you have it set to celcius it doesn't do 0.5C increments so you need to increase by 1C so you will need to decide if you prefer to keep it a bit cooler or warmer overall but really not an issue I went warmer because I like it warm!
