sweeter than maple syrup
sweeter than maple syrup with honey and cane sugar added at high pressure to be supersaturated. especially if you've been avoiding the typically sugar sweetened foods eaten in non-paleo diets. i know dates are sweet, and this is made from dates, but I love dates and this tastes like I poured sugar syrup on my filet. The ingredients list something called "Demerara Sugar" as the second ingredient. This is more or less evaporated cane juice, or, if you aren't in marketing, "sugar". Why you'd need to add sugar to dates is beyond me, although I do admit to seeing those dates covered with powdered sugar which seem to be fairly popular. Well, if you like sweet, you'll love this. The flavor hidden behind the sweetness seems like it could be great - smoky and earthy from the dates.I'm giving it 3 stars because the idea of a date-based substitute for ketchup is very creative and should be a good idea.I've updated it to 4 stars since it probably would make a great BBQ sauce.

VERSATILE AND ECONOMICAL
I've only tried the Date one so far. I'm very pleased. As some reviewers suggested, I've been using "small amounts" drizzled on a number of dishes. I've tried it on steamed hot dogs, roasted cauliflower, a mix of roasted root vegetables and spread on a mini homemade gluten-free pizza. I find the flavor very adaptable and not overpowering. Next will be as a thin spread baked on meatloaf. So far, I've used less than half the bottle.

We've used it on veggie burgers and rotisserie chicken thus far and love it for giving those meals that extra something somethin
My husband exclaimed, let's buy it by the case! We've used it on veggie burgers and rotisserie chicken thus far and love it for giving those meals that extra something something. We've also tried other flavors - cherry chipotle and blueberry white pepper and although those are very good, the date version is our favorite. Looking forward to finding other uses for this sauce. Maybe on ice cream?

Love this stuff
Love it. There are three flavours of this and they are all great. We use them for dipping but come summer I will be using them for glazing and marinating for BBQ. Don't be put off by the price they last a long time and represent good value as you only need a tiny bit and they will last a long time in the fridge.

Ick!
If I could give it a minus I would. Sorry, but it's the grossest Paleo thing I have tasted in the last three years.
