I had a tube of this cream left over from the hospital & used it on my mom, who is bedridden. The stuff is amazing. It's very thick, and does an excellent job keeping dampness off the skin.I'm told that it is pain relieving & stops itchiness. I can see that it definitely remedies any redness.I advise wearing gloves when applying....the stuff is THICK and hard to wash off hands. If you are using bed pads or waterproof mattress covers, you will NEED a DISH SOAP to get it off in the wash. Powershot or regular dish liquid, just something that breaks down oil/grease. The cream has some sort of a grease/oil base and just throwing the items in the washing machine won't cut it.Calmoseptine brings my mom soooo much relief, i always make sure that I have at least 1 tube on hand. If you are caring for someone with bed sore issues, this is the best thing I've found!

We use this for our daughter if she gets a bad diaper rash (8 months old) it’s a thicker substance than diaper cream and has a numbing and cooling to it so it helps if she is fussy. Definitely consult with your PED first, our okay’d it and it’s been a god sent. Works at healing the diaper rash, and very quickly.

I only wish this came in a smaller tube. I saw this recommended for colonoscopy prep to protect your behind from becoming a ring of fire. It’s essentially diaper cream with a tiny touch of menthol to cool off your ring if it is indeed on fire. I can promise that whatever prep you use will indeed make your Hershey highway into river rapids. It normally takes your body time to reduce the acid from your stomach before it appears at the end of the highway. But the prep rushes that process and after a few round owie! The slight cooling sensation is a dream. The protection for your little starfish is excellent. I did make sure to try and clean it off after my last showing before driving to the doctor for the big show. This stuff is not super easy to clean so it will take some soap and gentle wiping of your delicate area. Would absolutely use again if I had the runs or another colonoscopy scheduled.

This brand/product was recommended by my grandmother’s hospice nurse to protect her skin from bed sore. It worked so well. We were able to keep her from extra pain and I believe this product was second only to repositioning her in helping us achieve our goal.
