Very easy to install... took 10 minutes to remove my old, cracked screen and connect this new one. Fit my J7 Star perfectly and works just fine. Scraping the old adhesive residue, left from the old screen, was what actually took the longest but the little, blue scraper tool that came with the screen kit worked great for that. This DIY saved me about 100 bucks, based on the estimate I received from a local shop.

It took like 5 mins to install this and I saved hundreds of dollars. Just get this and go to YouTube so you don’t pay those money hungry phone repair techs your hard earned money.

He dropped his Samsung on the screen, and the touchscreen wasn't working any more. This worried me, since you cannot shut the phone down without the screen input, but we went ahead anyways. The screen replacement went okay with only a few small hitches, and even though I had to replace it while power was on, it worked. This was over a month ago, still working fine. Recommended.

The brightness and resolution is not as good as the original Samsung display, but I've had the phone for 8 years and really needed a recent backup of my contacts and conversations when the screen failed. I'm an old lady (almost 80) and was able to do it myself (I do have a long history repairing darn near everything). The hardest part was getting the old screen off without causing damage to the phone, connecting the tiny connector for the screen, and properly aligning the adhesive. If your hands aren't steady this might be difficult. That said, the new screen does seem to fit perfectly on my J7 Crown (SM-S767VL). It also seems to use less juice than the original. If you've never tackled repairing small electronics it would pay to search out youtube videos on the screen repair for your phone. Just be careful because some videos that say they are for your model of phone may not actually be the right videos. It was a cheap fix that will tide me over until I can make an informed decision on a new phone. And yes, I made a current backup as soon as it was up and running.

I bought this product and took it to a professional to install it for me. I was going to pay 5x's the price of this product if I bought it through the repair shop. So far, my phone has been working and has given my phone at least 1-2 more years of life. I have had this phone for 2 years and it is in good condition to just throw it and buy a new one.

When I got it the packaging was good and it had all the necessary tools needed to replace my LCD screen. I have replaced my husband screen twice already so I know how to do it. I did what I usually did when I replaced the previous screen. Before I put on the adhesion on completely, I tested the screen to make sure it powered on. The phone powered on but the screen was black and didn't power on. I took my old cracked screen and plug it back on the phone and the screen lighted up, so this tells me its is the new screen. Contact the seller and they suggest I put in another order for replacement and they would refund me my previous order. I placed another order for another one from them, and again it didn't work. So if you own a Samsung J7 this LCD does not work for it. Not sure if it is made for a particular phone or if its all defected LCD's? Don't buy if you are looking to replace your Samsung LCD screen. Trying to get that refund from the seller for the first one and so far no luck. I was able to refund the 2nd one because I was within my window for return with Amazon. The first one I missed the return window by 1 day. I was told by Amazon that the seller had a 90 day warranty for the item so I should contact them for a full refund. So far, no refund.
