Holy mother of Cheeto these things are orange!
I'm updating my review after a couple of days of usage to add stars, because these do reliably come on at the same time every day if you use the timer function, which is an incredibly handy feature. No need to go around the house with the remote turning them all on one by one, which is far more convenient than the old corded candles.First impressions:Good-The candle flicker seems decent. If you actually watch them you can see that the pattern repeat is fairly short but for holiday decorations it's fine.-They are a nice size and with LEDs the all-in-one construction of the candle part makes sense. I kind of wish they were permanently attached to the plastic candlesticks (since there's no way I'd use these in other candle holders as interior decor in lieu of real candles).- The suction cups actually seem to suck, which is not what I'd expect from a low end product like this. I imagined there was no way it would actually hold these to the windows, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.Bad-The LEDs aren't warm white or even a yellowish poor simulation of candle light. They are ORANGE. Like Halloween orange. Donald Trump's spray tan orange. High vis safety vest orange. Nacho cheese orange. The color of TANG. Christo's The Gates. ORANGE. They look a little lame compared to the candles I remember from childhood and other LED candles I've seen since, TBH -- least flame-like color of any electric candles I've ever seen. I specifically looked for info on light color in the reviews, but I guess I didn't look hard enough because these are, well, not realistic to say the least.-The plastic parts aren't exactly precision manufactured. I screwed one of the bases on and forgot to press the button before putting it in the plastic candlestick. As I pulled it back out to turn it on, the base popped off and got lodged firmly inside the plastic candlestick. The twist-lock mechanism that keeps them together is just that flimsy and the fit into the candlesticks that inexact. Indeed, this has happened several times as I've gotten them set up around my house.Ugly-Did I mention they're orange? Golden Gate Bridge orange. Koi fish orange. Carrot soup orange. Kinda ugly ORANGE.

These work, as expected and more...but nothing is perfect in this world
With the holiday season around the corner, I took a leap of faith and bought 12 of these. Well it turns out these are quite good. The brightness, remote control option and how long they last on a single pair of 2 AA's. I like that these use AA and not AAA as that adds to the run time of these candles. I personally like the candle option instead of a steady light. I use the timer option most of the time and so far they have been quite spot on with a little +/- The candle stands look elegant and are pretty light weight but still prevent the candles from tipping over. (I'll have to wait and see how long the color lasts or whether they will turn dark/ black). All of the candles did work right out of the box as well. There was also a little note in the package that said that they will give you a no return replacement if any are defective. But none were in my case. Now for some scope of improvement.1. I would love, if the flame bulbs were a little foggy instead of clear as shown in the images. Not a big deal, but I feel a foggy bulb would make it look more elegant2. Replacing the batteries is pretty easy - you unscrew the bottom cover by about 45 degree and it opens. There are little notches that hold the covers in place. There might be a little chance of improvement here.

Quality, wireless LED candles at a REASONABLE price!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Each holiday season we place corded window candles in the front windows of our home, however, our corded candles (the molded plastic kind with incandescent night light bulbs) were yellowed, always had to be taped down to window sills to avoid tipping over, required a handful of extension cords to work, and (after 20+ years of use) ran the risk of turning intofire hazards. While we've looked at and even tried battery powered windows candles with timers over the past several years, we never found any that we were pleased with -- the candle "flames" were either too amber or fake-looking, or they had "flame motion" that was "on" by default and couldn't be disabled, or they simply weren't bright enough. This was the main reason we held onto our corded candles this long.Until now. After purchasing an arc lighter from Ronxs several months ago to light our wax candles, and receiving EXCELLENT customer service from them, we were surprised to learn that they also sell LED window candles. For that reason alone, we decided to try THESE window candles out...and could not be happier. These candles look phenomenal in our windows (please see picture of our home with these candles turned on -- and I will add a couple additional close-up pictures shortly). There are six candles in the package, and the flame light -- a soft white LED -- is protected by a slightly opaque hard rubber casing. It is flame-shaped, though, and the light itself is perfect in terms of color and intensity. In fact, using the bundled remote, you have a handful of brightness settings to choose from. You also have a choice of leaving the candle flame burn solid (so it stays on), or so that it "pulses" (flashes slightly on/off in a random pattern). We use the solid flame light, as that's what we've always used, but either mode looks very nice. Each candle comes with a plastic (but solid) base that has an attractive gold metallic finish. Each candle also has a clamp with a "sticky cup" that can secure the candle to a window pane, but we've found that the candles inserted in their bases are stable enough to stand on their own on our window sills. Each candle takes two AA batteries, and while you can turn them on/off manually on the bottom of the candle, each can be turned on/off with the aforementioned remote -- which also controls light intensity, solid/flicker mode, as well as a choice of FOUR (2, 4, 6 and 8 hour "on" modes) timers. These window candles have exceeded our expectations -- and we are glad to FINALLY retire our plug-in candles! We like these LED candles so much, in fact, that we are purchasing a SECOND set to use in a couple other windows in our home, and to have a few as backups. These are highly recommended!
