I purchased this phone last year when it was first released. I'm with T-Mobile and the 4g or LTE do NOT work although it's still pretty fast. T-Mobile uses Band 4 for LTE and 1700/2100 for 4G. Because it has an MTK processor gps is a problem, you can read the dozens of forums on line for more info/fixes. The screen is very nice but the battery not so much. The company took 8 months for the 5.1 update then took it off the their website for 2 months because it was really buggy. Then the company seems to have gone out of business. I was able to find this great custom ROM called XtremeRom and it made this phone what it should have been from the beginning. Fast and beautiful! Battery is so so but it made its way out of the drawer and back into my weekly rotation.

... this phone for around 7 months and I really like its functionality
I have had this phone for around 7 months and I really like its functionality. However, where this phone fails is its lack of accesories and it's absolutaly crap audio quality, the sound is so s*^t that it drags the entire phone into the relms of just an alright phone for the money. The audio can't be tweeked, no matter what software you install so the audio becomes a massive fail. with short sittedness like this no wonder the company has gone bust!

FABULOUS PHONE BUT....iOcean has been out of business for over a year now. Not registerable. No parts available.
While this phone WAS probably the finest quality phone (feature wise) I have EVER encountered (except for the HORRIBLY underpowered battery), I can't even give it 2 stars BECAUSE the manufacturer has been out of business for OVER A YEAR NOW.I was in contact with iOcean on Facebook and out of nowhere they just disappeared (fell in the ocean, I guess). I was waiting for them to contact me with info on a case and upgraded high capacity battery and case to accommodate the new battery. That day never came as the company went belly up.There are NO parts available for the phone now. The battery is proprietary (made ONLY for that phone) and I've contacted every single source for a battery from the United States clear to Singapore (LITERALLY sent messages to EVERY possible source I could find from one side of the globe to the other) and there isn't even ONE battery left. Not even the battery that comes with the phone, which is way too small for the phone. The phone performed as it's name was.... the "ROCK". It was named that for the texture of the cover, which is like that of a stone. Very elegant. The phone REALLY DID ROCK! Unfortunately the company's been gone a LONG time now so I'm rather stunned to see the phone for sale here in Amazon.Be warned! You cannot register it, you can't get a battery for it, you can't get a case for it, and you SURE can't get support for it as iOcean doesn't exist anymore, SADLY as I LOVED THAT PHONE!!!! Mine won't even turn on now.:-(

Warning! This is a backdoor phone
I paid for a iOCEAN G7 but since it is the same company I have to warn other people.Warning! This is a backdoor phone built by some Chinese company to get access to whatever wireless network exists in your house or office. How do I know that? Simple:I shut-down the phone and left it in my house with a power cable coupled to it. After returning home a few hours later, I had the surprise to see the phone's screen in root mode with somebody typing frantically with chinese fonts. I am not bothered by some idiots recording all my phone calls. I had nothing of interest on that phone as well. But I do not want said idiots to gain access to my home or office network. So I had to remove the battery, break the phone in pieces, and dump all of that to garbage.

Love the phone
Love the phone. Can't get 4G LTE out here in the U.S but I manually tweaked the APN to get 3G H+. It's still pretty fast using the mobile data. The default APN wouldn't allow me to use mobile data (send and receive pictures and surf the web).
