Great accessory for vacation
Bought this for cruising. Since it was only me and my wife, we needed something to keep our stateroom key card and our passports dry while we lounge in the pool and out on the beach. We bought this from Amazon since we thought Disney would jack up the price on their ships on these. Well it turns out, they had them on the ship with the Disney logo for the same price. So if you want this with the Disney logo, you can wait till you get on the ship. Anyways, the color is nice, we got 1 card size and 1 passport size for on-shore excursion. Both worked great. In terms of construction, I accidentally sat on the card size one and it was fine. So it was pretty sturdy. The clamp to close is quick; I was able to get my card in matter of seconds. Beware, once it's open, you can't really hang it around your neck if you still have cards inside. Since it opens on the side, it will dangle with it at an angle, so close it whenever you have items inside. For size, it was good, we had 2 passport and it fit fine with room to spare.Waterproof part (most important) of this worked great. It kept the water out while we were in the water (pool/ocean). One word of warning. Since this closes water thight, the case will float when you are in the water. You can tie it on your swim trunks so that it is underwater. Just keep in mind it will try raise up from underwater. We only used it for 4 days and no moisture was leaked in. Can't say for long term but at least the rubber ring still works.

I would recommend it for water environments of up to 3 to ...
I read one review that said this item would not hold a U. S. Passport. This is not correct. This case holds two current sized (our passports were new in 2013) U. S. Passports, It also held, in addition to the passports, two Cruise ship I.D. cards issued when you board for re-boarding at ports-of-call, one credit card and several U. S, currency bills I took along some $5's to $20's to tip excursion guides and for small purchases. We went on a dolphin encounter, hiked up Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica, and also went on a stingray encounter in Cozumel. As they say in Jamaica, "No problem, mon!" All items sealed in this case remained dry. I would recommend it for water environments of up to 3 to 5 feet in depth. I would have given five stars if the case has been a little bit wider so that it could hold 3 passports, or slightly more credit or boarding cards or currency. If there are more than two of you, you might need two of these. It will NOT hold 3 passports. I tried this with one of our old passports plus the new ones. No dice.

I was comfortable to use it in the ocean
This waterproof Passport Locker did exactly what I wanted it to. We went on a cruise to an island that had a beach. I did not want to leave my passport or credit card or cabin card in my beach bag. I could put everything I had in this container and it kept everything dry and made me feel safe. I tried it at home before I went and when I could see that it let no water in, I was comfortable to use it in the ocean. My time at the beach felt very safe. I would highly recommend this product if you are like me and want to be extremely careful of theft in a foreign place.

I use these as a wallet, I never carry a regular leather wallet anymore. I can fit about 8 plastic cards in it (credit/debit cards, Drivers license, Gov ID, etc). I used to get sand in my wallet from trips to the beach with my dog and it would grind up the strips on my cards, no problem with that anymore. Plus, its totally waterproof (probably floats but I haven't tested that theory). You can fit a small amount of cash if you fold it into thirds and don't have too many cards in it, but I rarely carry cash anymore.

nice case just dont sit on it
Nice case, this is the second passport case I have bought and have gone thru 4 id cases from this company. The clear plastic id cases usualy get scratched up a lot so they are good for 6 months every day use.The first passport locker I bought broke at the hinge when it was in my back pocket. That seems to be a weak spot on the design. Otherwise it keeps dirt and other junk off my well traveled passport. I use this every day in my work. If you are going hiking or traveling to someplace with weather extremes, I would choose this design over all the others

Does what it says!
A friend and I each purchased this item. Mine worked perfectly. No issues, no leaking. My friend is not sure if he closed his properly and it did leak.Worked as intended. This is my second type of this item purchased. All of them have an issue in that they "float up" so they can get caught in something when snorkeling, or is uncomfortable cuz you never know where it is. I wore a Tee Shirt with it, and it floats inside to, but this is something all of these types of items experience. , unless you tie it to your torso.Either way, this is a solid item, used it for 5 days of snorkeling and water fun.

This worked just as expected. Took it snorkeling at the Kittiwake (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g1006573-d1989109-Reviews-Kittiwake_Shipwreck_Artificial_Reef-West_Bay_Grand_Cayman_Cayman_Islands.html)I used to dive, so as part of the fun, I went down 15 or 20 feet just to get closer to the boat and take pictures. This locker held up great. No pressure leaks of any kind. I kept some cash, our cruise ship boarding card, passport ID card (not book), and some other papers in it. It is a little bit cramped in there after all that, but it was fine for my needs

Great to carry passports when traveling!
Great size to carry passports in ...but the size is a little large to wear around your neck and not look like your a geek. Lol...It is what it is. You could wear around neck if needed and wear under a shirt so it didn't look so weird. Being clear does allow anyone to see what you have inside so you need to add anything, even paper to block view if carrying money or passports. Great for travel depending on your needs. Strong and durable. Closed and sealed well.
