David Bailey: Bailey Exposed

A cheeky book that perfectly presents Bailey's unique style of photography while revealing something of his character. His distillation of essentials captured in an instant produce pure magic regardless of who he is working with. Every image a delightful surprise. I was at art school when Blow-Up first screened and we all rushed out to see it. In retrospect the movie was pretty anaemic compared to Bailey, his lifestyle and his work. The book is a real gem portraying so many really great characters of the period. It also provides an extremely interesting visual record of David's progression through life.

A super small book with a few quotes for $18????.I was expecting some kind of biography. very disappointed

A great example that not every photo book needs to be large and splashy. This lovely little book has a lively visual energy that comes from rich print quality, savy quotes, smart design and a smooth ride with each turn of the page.

Really nice little book .David Bailey what a character . the photographer who shoot the swinging sixties ,This book has some nice photos of some of the famous stars that his photographed over the years. , plus it has some of Bailey's best sayings.Yes there are many photographers in this world ,but only one David Bailey ,

A great little book with portraits by Bailey, each accompanied either by one of his observations or cutting witticism's, or reflections from one of his sitters or fellow photographers. The down to earth, great man behind the camera.

Ok. I bought the book second hand from here and it was smaller than I expected. The print quality is so-so, worth it if buy cheap if you appreciate Bailey's work.

This is a wonderful little book of alternate photo page and alternate Bailey quote.He has incredible energy, takes stunning photos and brings his own form of East End philosophy/humour.This book is great value and a must for all David Bailey fans.I just hope he keeps going.
