Edutab: Smart Children's Tablet (large 10in LCD)

We bought this for our 14mo old as a Christmas present. Her father and I both use tablets and her older brother has a LeapPad. She is constantly wanting to use them, which we do not allow. We felt she was too young to buy her her own Leappad. So I went hunting to find something inexpensive but that would give her an experience like having her own tablet. I found this. I thought the screen would change, it does not. That's not the worst part. It's primary language is Spanish and no where did it say that before I bought it. I will encourage her to learn 2nd, 3rd or more languages, but right now we are still working on teaching her English as her primary language. You can change it to English AFTER you turn it on. But, as all parents of young toddlers know, they love turning things ON AND OFF. And she is too young to understand that she has to turn it back to English everytime she turns it off. A waste of money, unless you are looking for a Spanish speaking toy.

My 3 year old daughter who will be 4 in February LOVES our Apple IPAD and IPHONES. She can do almost and navigate through almost everything and anything.I bought this for her thinking it met her age requirement and that she would enjoy the games because it looks and imitates the look and feel of an IPAD.Very unhappy. Worst XMAS gift ever!Sitting on a shelf in her toy room. She hates it. It is boring and there is nothing to see. You just tap buttons and listen. Its so sensitive my daughter doesn't even realize or care to even notice when she taps the language button and it turns into Spanish.Def. a waste of money.I teach the younger grades and thought I would try this out first with my daughter and if it was great would buy several for my classroom for my students in need of reinforcement but I'm having second thoughts.

This toy is in SPANISH. It can be switched to English, but switches back to Spanish every time you turn it off and on again. Also my grandson dosen't know not to keep touching the button that switches it back to Spanish again. This is just not worth the money or frustration.

It did not keep my 4 year old interested even for a minute. Kids today know what a "real" tablet is supposed to do.Spanish start up each time is very annoying.
