Nancy Drew Dossier: Resorting to Danger - PC

I think there are two of these "Nancy Drew Dossier" games. They are not the same as the regular Nancy Drew mysteries, but for me at least, they are a lot of fun.This game belongs to the genre of games I have heard called "hunt and peck" or "point and click". Some people just flat don't like the style of these games, but I'm not one of them. I find them to be entertaining and relaxing.I have played a couple of other games of this type and I find the Nancy Drew to be better all around, better thought out, better graphics, a better story line.Obviously, I liked this very much. I think whether you like it or not will depend on whether you like this type of game or not. If you do, I heartily recommend this one.

I'm a big Nancy Drew fan so I've played many games. This is not as challenging as the other games but anyone who has a tough time playing regular Nancy Drew games will like this one. There's directions on how to do the puzzles. This game only took me about 3 hours to complete which is ok because I sometimes like a shorter game when I'm short on time. Recommend!

Needs more clues!

The game I ordered was not 'new' as advertised. It has obviously been used and opened. The game also came with both volumes of the series (Not mentioned in the description) - a plus if I hadn't already ordered the other game, expecting to get only Resorting to Danger. I don not plan on sending back, however, as it would just be a hassle and I cannot get as good a deal on this game. The game is wonderful, my complaints are solely with the seller's inaccurate description.

This is a great game for both casual gamers and ND mystery game fans; a hidden-object game where the objects you need to find are not random, but meaningful parts of the scene and story. The puzzles and mini-games are very much like those found in HER Interactive's adventure-style ND games. A fun, accessible game, without being simplistic or obvious.

This was a fun game, but wasn't quite as fun as the usual Nancy Drews. Fairly good plot, functions of play were functional. Everything was scaled down and it played to quickly. But I do appreciate them making another game to get us ND junkies through until the next release of their bigger games :).

I LOVE THESE GAMES. But this one is my favorite its so much fun and they give you clues so your not left stranded TOTALLY WORTH THE BUY

If you do not have enough time to play the full Nancy Drew games, these dossiers are great. They progress quickly, are full of hidden objects, and I really liked the fact that they have an Arcade built in so you can play some of the games in the story as many times as you wish. All in all an enjoyable game. I'll probably buy a couple more.
