This shade has some weight to it and a feel of almost a rubber or latex or something like that. No clue what it’s made of, but feels durable. Time will tell, but friends have one from Tentproinc and have had it several years. They are permanent campers and theirs has held up…..this is why we chose the brand.Guys…..it’s a game changer! We felt the temperature difference as soon as we hung it up. Install was super fast and easy……one person could do it with a bit of a struggle due to the length, but two people it was easy and fast with one guiding it into the slot and the other keeping tension on the shade.We chose brown to match our awning amd camper trim. Looks great, cools the are, shades the sun and gives a bit of privacy. You can still see thru it, and light comes thru so you aren’t in the dark….just cooler!We have a 16’ awning and ordered the 15’3” shade. Perfect fit.Refolding to put back in their carrying case as weird most things didn’t go back in like from the manufacture. We can’t zip the case, but plan to find another storage solution. Most likely a flat bin.Would recommend to anyone wanting a little shade from the sun in those campsites with no trees! Love it!

From noon to about 3pm in the summer the sun is relentless on our campsite. Even with an awning on the camper once it hits the right angle the sun is in your face. I saw another camper with one of these and decided to give it a go. Glad I did. Installation is super easy though it went faster with another set of hands. Not only did it keep the sun out of our eyes it was noticeably cooler under the awning. It also offers the hidden bonus of privacy. You can’t really see in from the road, but you can definitely see out. Great addition to our camper. Keeps the kids l, the dog and mom and daddy comfortable. Great product. Fits perfectly. I just use my hose to clean mine.

Installed the 19ft. It's made very well and rolls right up with the awning. Comes with all necessary tie downs and carry case. Must have!

Product easy to install, fit perfectly, heavy duty material and provides protection from the sun also helps to lower temperature in RV side, ratchet straps no longer needed.

It still allows light and some breeze through and is very easy to set up. Also, it helps stabilize the awning.

I purchased this item the last week of September and used it for the first time. I read the instructions on installation and it recommended two people to install. However, I go camping by myself and my little yorkie (who is the supervisor). I found it rather simple and easy to install by myself. Once you start to feed it into the channel, it will move along across as you continue to feed it in. One recommendation.... I am 6'2" tall and still needed a step stool to reach up to the end of the awning to feed the screen into the channel. I recommend using one of those foldable 3 step-stools (based upon your height of course).Once I get it installed, it looked great. The material is actually pretty thick and sturdy, you can tell its NOT a flimsy screen. The photo's show it just hanging, which i recommend if there is a breeze or a light breeze. It comes with four plastic stakes and bungee cords so that you can stake out the bottom of the screen.I had the sun moving east to west facing the screen and it filtered out enough of the sun that i was able to see and use my laptop screen. So it was a success!If you have to roll your awning in at night once the screen is attached, you can! The screen rolled up fine with my awning at the campground. However, there was about 12 inches of screen left hanging after the awning was rolled up, which is just fine. I do not recommend traveling like this. I would only roll up the screen while at the campground.When I was ready to packup and leave the campground, it was even easy removing the screen. I literally just pulled it out and it slid out effortlessly. Folding was easy and it folded into a very manageable square.So, this is my review of this shade screen after the first use. I am very happy of the entire product and i am happy to recommend it. Hope this review helps you out.

Best purchase ever! We just spent two weeks at our favorite lake spot and this was worth every penny! I was initially skeptical and worried about it causing issues with our awning during a windy/stormy period but much to my surprise it actually helped stabilize the awning. It kept the awning tethered so it wouldn’t fly up all of the time. Plus, it cut some of the wind that would have otherwise lifted the awning. It still let some of the breeze through. The bungee tethers had just enough for some movement to keep it from ripping but Was completely secure. Previously our awning wouldn’t provide enough shade until almost two in the afternoon but with the shade sail it knocked out enough sun we could use our patio area all day long. The sunrise was perpendicular to our awning which made for beautiful sunrises but would cause a glare across the water. The sun shade helped cut the glare as well. It created a little more privacy from those across the water but didn’t block our view by any means. I like the sturdiness of the material. It seems like it will last. Our awning is 14 ft wide x 7 ft tall (give or take a couple inches)from the track to the ground. We ordered the 13ft x 9ft. The width lined up perfectly with the awning and the height was perfect. The 9 ft height allowed us to pitch the shade sail To keep us from feeling like we were closed off. We got plenty of rain and the rain ran off like a charm. It acted like a rain chain on gutters almost. It guided the water off the awning down to the ground so it didn’t splash off the side like normal. It won’t stop the rain but it did shield the patio area a little. Recommended to everyone at our campground!
