The baking soda trick does make the glue bond really messy and ugly looking, so if you care about a final look, you won't want to use it. For practical repairs, or hidden repairs, I use baking soda all the time.

This is really good stuff. I don’t typically do reviews on many products, but I had to on this particular one. Needed to re-glue my center console upholstery on my truck and some shoes that were coming apart at the soles. Very easy to setup, apply and glue sets in about 15-20 seconds. So far, it seems to hold super fantastic. No complaints. I would definitely purchase again when I need another bottle.

Best CA glue kit I’ve used. The applicator comes with two snap-on covers that have kept the glue safe from the air/hardening for two months since I first used it. The amount of glue that can be applied is actually controllable; the glue is at a thickness that keeps it from running everywhere, and actually lays on the project as a “bead”. Excellent product.
