Botanical Skin Works Natural Man Bay Lime Beard Oil, All Natural Beard Conditioner, 4 oz.

I've been using this for ~6 years now. I've tried both the Bay Lime and Mint versions, and they've both worked very well. It smooths down those annoying errant hairs that stick out all over the place, keeps my beard in line, and keeps my skin nice and healthy. I very rarely get any kind of breakouts under it anymore since I started using this. It even works well at keeping my super fine hair on my head from going all fluffy. It's so much better than any other product I've tried.Although, the usage instructions are a bit wrong, imo. I use 3 squirts in my palm, rub my hands together, rub it over my beard, and then use what's left on my head. Using less still leaves my beard feeling dry.

What can I say, this oil STINKS! Literally. I have 3 issues with this product:1. Like another reviewer said, it smells like burnt hair after about 15-30 minutes. At first I get a strong scent of something like tea tree oil. But oh boy does it go south after that. My wife hates it.2. Pump mechanism. This pump is clearly not meant to be used with oil. It comes out of the nozzle with so much velocity that it splashes everywhere when trying to apply it to the palm of my hand. It can literally squirt 10 feet (I tried it). I have other beard oils that use the pump delivery system and this is by far the worst of them all.3. This product actually feels like it dries my beard out instead of moisturizing it. I bought the Bay Lime scent so maybe the other scent is better as it does have different ingredients.I absolutely do NOT recommend this product.

Got this for my boyfriend, who has been growing out the ol' beard this year, because as it was growing rather longish, it was also feeling dry + itchy in the undergrowth. He really likes it, and told me I could put his thoughts into a review for others.PROS:-Great price.-Nice pump, so not messy.-Smells good, but wishes it lasted longer and/or was maybe a little more strongly scented. (Reason for 1 star deduction)-(I *also* think it smells good, which is a pro, imo!)-Softens the beard and helps with the itchies.CONS:-"Uh, none."There you have it. He and/or I would buy again.(...Though he is considering letting me customize my own mix of oil + essential oils for him so he can get a longer-lasting, more personalized fragrance. :D)UPDATE: 12/13/2015: At the rate of being used a couple times a week this bottle lasted almost a full year. We went to try something else, but it had a fake fragrance along with the essential oil, which we noticed because the bottle had a leak and the smell was overpowering in the box when we opened it. So we returned that one for the damage and didn't reorder due it due to the scent being so bad. Then we reordered this because, well, why mess with awesome? So he agreed I should add a star to this review, having used and liked the product so much, for so long and to keep wanting to reorder it over the other brands we bought (and returned) or he was gifted when he began growing the beard out. The smell is great - he and I both agree on this - and it makes the beard soft, squelches the itchies. It is long lasting as a little goes a long way. Also please note: my boyfriend says this feels best - and works best - when applied just after your shower. Hope this helps! It lasts a long time and despite trying a few other brands, this is his favorite beard oil and we just don't bother ordering anything else now. 100% recommended for a great scent (we both like it, which is important), a soft beard and a cure for the common beard itchies. And although it doesn't replace the control power of something like a wax, it does help tame fly aways a bit, too.

Very nice product. Have been using it every 2-3 days for the last month and have become a big fan of it.I have a full beard that i like to keep well kept around 1/2" to 3/4" max length for work reasons and had noticed over the winter that i have alot of "beardruff", dandruff from my beard, showing up on my black polos at work. It was a brutally cold winter so dry skin was rampant. I have a shaved head and kept that moisturized with Aveeno and i still kept getting alot of white flakes on my shirts before i realized it was from the dry skin under my beard.Looked around and found some popular brands had decent reviews and then i found this. I've always been a fan of the scent of limes so i figured i'd give this a go. Couldn't be happier. Like most of the othe reviews here and on the net have stated, i apply when my beard is still somewhat damp, after taking a shower. I'll put four squirts of this on my fingers and then rub both hands together and apply it deep into the beard, running my fingers up from my neck towards my jaw and cheeks. Do this several times and then run my fingers together again and work on the mustache area. Has a nice lime scent mixed in with a few others that isn't overpowering and wears off within a half hour or so.After about a month i've noticed a drastic decrease in beardruff. If i go 4-5 days without using i notice it comes back but have gotten pretty good results using it every 2-3 days. Also keeps my beard nice and soft and not as scratchy and scruffy which is an added plus.All in all i'd say its a great investment and will continue to use this product in the future.

This is a great product and underated in my opinion. I wear my beard from 2-5 inches depending on the time of year and a single bottle lasts me upwards of 5 months. My beard is curly and without it I would not be able to wear one comfortably because I would not be able to comb it. My skin feels great and my beard and face do not get itchy, tangled, or dandruffy when I use this oil. For the price you will find nothing better; trust me I have used many other products. I have been using this product for a little over two years and I just bought my 3rd bottle. Some oils are $20+ for 1 ounce... this is a 4 ounce bottle. If your looking for a great product at a great price give it a try. Don't beat yourself up with an uncomfortable, itchy beard. Spend $10 and rock one in style.

Every time I tried to arm wrestle bears I lost. Now I use Natural Man Bay Lime Beard Oil I still can't win but my beard smells and feels great. Go on use it but stay away from the bears.

Be careful as to how much you put on. This product is an oil so it maintains a greasy sheen to your beard. Has a strong and quite potent lime and clive oil fragrance (offputting to some).Does not seem to be absorbed as well as the Argan beard oil I was previously using.
