This is the dish you've been looking forGently curved corners, textured handles, solid heavy borosilicate glass, Made in USA. That's a quadruple win.Now I want to upgrade my oven so I can bake with more of these dishes at the same time.My recipe of choice is pumpkin pie - without the crust. That means I bake the filling like a custard. A regular pie dish is too small so I bought two of these 13x9 Borolux dishes and they are perfect.The recipe contains extra egg whites so I need a dish that provides even heat and easily releases the food, which is why I really like the curved corners. No prying or scraping required.Since nobody else has commented on another feature I noticed today, I will. Cleanup is a breeze. I've cooked in glass pyrex dishes before and I don't recall them being as easily cleaned as was this dish. It's as if the borosilicate glass is extra-smooth. The gently curved corners are super easy to clean, which is nice.Great product. I would buy it again without hesitation.

It can not be used under a broiler.

I love to cook for my family and friends. I had a stoneware baking dish that was similar in size to this glass rectangular dish. However, after a few months of using it, the glaze on the stoneware began to crackle and I was concerned about bacteria getting into the cracks and then into my food. So, I was looking for a very high quality rectangular baking dish to replace my stoneware.I am very pleased with the quality of this dish. It is very heavy duty and because it is made of Borolux, I do not need to worry about the glass shattering or cracking. I like the wide handles that allow me to grasp the hot dish even if I am wearing oven mitts. I have made a couple of casseroles and a meat loaf in the baking dish. I like that the dish is large, allowing me to make a large casserole and leaving enough room for me to roast vegetables next to the meatloaf. I liked that I could make the meal in the baking dish in the morning, place it in the refrigerator and then transfer the whole dish to the oven to bake when I got home from work. I understand that the dish is also freezer and microwave safe which is a huge plus.There is one feature of this dish that I do NOT like. The walls of the dish are very curved and the bottom corners are very rounded. I would like to use my baking dish to cook a lasagna, cakes or brownies. However, due to the curved sides of the baking dish, I could not get a squared-off edge that I want. I will have to continue to use my metal 9 x 13" pan to cook cakes, brownies and lasagnas so that I can get a tall, straight edge.

I just bought one of these baking dishes after I had a Pyrex dish explode in the oven. Last night I used the Borlaug dish to bake chicken ...at 400 degrees. Everything was fine. I washed it after dinner and put it away. This evening I took it out to use it , and it has a huge crack in it from one side to the other. This is not what I was expecting.

My wife and I ordered this baking dish a number of weeks ago and have been very pleased.The dish arrived promptly and was carefully packaged. We were initially surprised at its heft. They mean it when they say that this dish is made of sturdy, industrial-strength glass that will last a lifetime. We have cooked a variety of items in the dish: meatloaf, chicken, lasagna, and a number of casseroles. All turned out well, and the dish was a snap to clean, both by hand and in the dishwasher. We were also able to take it out of the refrigerator and put it straight into the microwave to reheat leftovers, no problem.Excellent service, high-quality product, and solid price. Buying this higher quality dish was well worth the investment. We highly recommend.

Overall I like the baking dish, but I'm not pleased with the hump they've built into the bottom. It makes the dish far more shallow than I would prefer. Otherwise, I'd say it met my expectations.

This was a little pricier than I had planned to spend for a glass baking dish, but after several experiences with exploding Pyrex I decided that it was time to spring for higher quality. I've had the chance to use it just once so far so I don't have any long-term experience to share, but so far, I'm very happy with the purchase. It is made of thick, solid glass that I expect will last for a long time. To my mind, the peace of mind of not having to worry about exploding glassware is worth a few extra bucks.
