Great for more than advertised!
Arrived quickly both times (ordered two of these). The Buffer and waxer did an absolute awesome job on my table top, and I ordered the second to attach the waxer to act as a knife sharpener. I was not sure it this would work, but adding a little compound to the fresh pad, made my carving knife razor sharp in a matter of seconds!! A very cheap alternative to buying a bench grinder and sharpening wheels. I am VERY much in love with this, in both cases.Also, the hook and loop of the Buffer came on and off several times, and it still has the great grip it first came with.

False advertising-MADE IN CHINA
False Advertising. The post says made in america there is even a sticker that says made in america on the packaging. Yet, look at the tag on the product and terry cloth very clearly says MADE IN CHINA. Also, the terry cloth is very thin the picture on product post is very deceiving not nearly as plush as the picture makes it look.

Attached firmly and polished metal just fine
The hook and loop attached firmly and did not loosen while using.I successfully used the pad to polished a copper weathervane.The sanders gets hot when using the pad as compared to using a sanding disk. The motor must have to work harder to move the pad and possibly since there are no air holes the sander lacks cooling air. I would suspect for a long term solution the sander is not an appropriate tool but for short little polishing jobs like mine it is good.

Great conversion kit for my 5" B&D sander!
Works great! Tried it yesterday to spot polish a small area on my car and it did exactly what it was supposed to. The Velcro attached seamlessly to my Black and Decker 5" sander.

cover size
The velcro pad was good, but the cover for it overlapped 2-3" when put on the pad. The pad now only had ⅓ of it's velcro attaching material exposed, It would not stick with such little space.

these are good quality; we washed them and reused them several times.

Pay more, get something better.
The cloth buffing pad was incredibly poorly made. Loose fibers fell off almost immediately, and the pad destroyed itself after only 30 minutes of use. Pay more and get something better.
