Grace Note Chimes 1LGN Earthsong Wind Chimes, 24-Inch, Silver

I don't understand the negative reviews on this wind chime because it is too small. I suggest doing a little research on windchimes and you will learn that the higher notes are obtained from shorter and smaller diameter tubes and vice versa. I have several wind chimes that are all musically hand tuned to different keys. I needed a wind chime in the key C to play with my lower note chimes (that are much bigger also) with E minor cords. This beautiful windchime plays corresponding notes in EGABDE. I have ended up with an incredible symphony when the wind blows above 5mph which is pretty common where I live. This particular windchime plays really lovely higher pitched tones that are very soothing and gentle. This chime is also very well made and should last for many years.

This replaced a wind chime we had for years. It's not quite the same, but it just sounds so lovely out there. I'd sit out there on the patio and listen to it all day, but it gets to be 108+ degrees here, so...… It's lovely.

These chimes are totally awesome, but NOT in this size. Amazon sent wrong size 3 times! Highly recommend ordering direct from Grace Note, AND don't scrimp on size -- get 36" or nothing. Smaller ones sound like kids toy.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am that I wasn't wise to the measurements when I ordered this wind chime. I copied the information from a home after hearing what a wonderful musical tone they made, I had to have them. I checked the manufactures website and the shipping charge was $18.00 so I thought of Amazon and my Prime account. The musical notes that the windchime I ordered played were identical to what I had written down so I was very excited. I asked my husband how long the actual tubes were on the one I had seen and we agreed they were about 24 inches so I quickly ordered these. Unfortunately I didn't realize that the 24 inches is the length of the entire chime including the hanger. They are very small and though they do have a nice sound, they are so small compared to what I thought I was ordering, the sound is small and of course totally different. Don't be fooled by the description and learn from my experience that the size wind chimes I thought I was getting would obviously be much more expensive.

These little wind chimes are beautifully tuned and have nice resonance. They are perfect for an area where you want to sit and have conversations and not be drowned out by the sound of a larger chime. They also won't bother the neighbors if you live in a more dense neighborhood or in an apartment. I also have Music of the Spheres alto chimes in another part of my yard and these are just as well constructed. I have really been enjoying them. My favorite purchase of this summer! My only regret is that I should have gotten them sooner!

These chimes suited my needs perfectly. I wanted something with a light & cheery sound for my pool deck rather than the larger clangy chimes that were there, and these are the perfect chimes. I'm on a large lake so I get quite a bit of wind. I found a website that had an audio of the chimes so I knew these made the sound that I was looking for. The chimes are beautifully made and come with a 3 year warranty.

Wrong size so I returned it

Over the years I have bought a number of wind chimes for my youngest daughter, who loves them. This one is her favorite because of its delightfully sweet melody. And with several musicians in the family, we appreciate the fact that this sounds an actual chord. No higher praise!As a side note, I'm not sure what some reviewers mean when they say this is smaller than expected. It seems about standard size to me, especially when one considers that creating those ringing high tones requires a smaller chime. On the plus side, the smaller size means that this chime will sing for you in even the faintest of breezes.
