They came in a resealable bag which was nice since I can't use them all at once. I toss a few in each of the 1 & 2-quart jars with the vegetables I dehydrate and they keep very well.

I use these in very small airtight baggies to keep my jewelry making supplies and finished pieces from tarnishing. These are perfect for very small baggies. I also purchase this brand in 3 gram size for larger baggies. I have noticed a great reduction in tarnish since I began using them.

My husband makes his own smoked Paprika from fresh red bell peppers. But sometimes the powder clumps, even though he dries the powder after it is ground for at least a day. These little Silica Packs did the trick! No more clumping! They are the perfect size for spice jars. I wish there was a way to attach them to the underside of the spice jar lids, so they didn't mix with the spice powder. But, that would involve glue, and I didn't want to mix glue with a food/spice item.

Since the product description said they were food safe, I decided to give them a try. I live in a high humidity area due to being close to several small streams and surrounded on three sides by woodland. I am constantly having my spices get clumpy and moist so having to throw them out. So I put one small packet in a few jars to test it out. I wasn't sure they were working at first, because they stayed blue for so long. Then my son lost a lid to one of the spice jars and I didn't realize until I went to use it. When I seen it was off I started to get upset until I realized it was one of the jars I had been experimenting with. I opened the shaker top off and pulled it out. It was pink and the spice was fine. Still very powdery instead of a solid clump like it normally would have been. So i replaced it with a new one and I am super happy. This is going to save me a ton of money. If your jars are larger than the typical store bought jars like I use, I would suggest a larger size. Always make sure with something like this that you are using the right size product for what you want to protect, so that it can handle the job.

The melted ones are the ones I purchased here (the others are just random packs). My kitchen stinks 2 days later from a failed attempt to recharge them.

Purchased these packets for my transplant medications as they were sticking together. After reading reviews from 10 months ago and they said it was a great product. The review and the company also state that you can reuse over and over. You can’t reuse. I follow directions put them in the microwave they stayed pink, then put one in a Ziploc bag pulled all the air out with a blue packet, and both turn pink,Telling me that the other pink one still has moisture in it. I contacted the company and they never contacted me back after I spoke with the customer service agent or receptionist and no one ever called me back to find out if these were supposed to go back to blue after recharging them. I do not recommend them they are a one and done deal

If you have electronics and photo equipment that has to be stored away for long periods, make sure you put some of these in with them, especially inside leather, vinyl, or plastic, where not much ventilation takes place.

While these do work, I ruined my favorite pan. The package states you can recharge these in the oven at 200-240 for 2 hours. I put them in at 200 and about 5 minutes later I smelled melting plastic, I opened the oven and 8 packets were completely melted into the pan with the tiny silica everywhere. Be careful, had I been in the living room, these could have caught fire! If you buy these just plan on throwing them away when they turn pink.
