Used to build a school project from scratch
We needed to build a school project from scratch and this 2 amp 5 volt regulator worked out great. The project was multi port USB charger that worked from AC/DC or solar cell.

Likely fakes
Likely fakes. I have some genuine L78S05CV's and they look nothing like these. Tested a couple out on a breadboard and with a 1A load they were already sagging down to 4.85v. On top of all that, they arrived mangled. I had to spend 20 minutes straightening out legs.
