Excellent cutters. Used now for while in fresh water and salt water . Wish I would have had these when I used my bass boat . Used clippers back then . Worked but they always rust . These have no rust at all and don’t bind up . As soon as cutters and needle nose rust they bind and u can’t open them . Constantly WD40 .Not with these. I’m using on my Kayak . Cord that comes with scissors are to short so you will need longer one . I’m using cord . Gets in the way .Just ordered another pair just in case .

The scissors are a good value for the money. My only beef is the attachment of the keeper to the scissors, not an easy process if you use the ring. I tried the carabiner, but it was a problem then with my fingers as I cut line.

Only the last inch of the blades touch each other. That means thin material can easily just slide in between the blades without getting cut if you try to use the part of the blades close to the hinge. I suspect that is because they skimped on materials and have plastic around the hinge instead of metal. Definitely worth spending a few bucks more for better quality.

Haven't had them long but so far they're Awesome , sharp , and comfortable in hand . Great pair of scissors.to.leave in the boat or use at home .. So far they make clean cuts , the blades are somewhat serrated along the edge making them great for cutting braid ..... For your money you'll be hard pressed to beat these little scissors ..

Used it on 20lb powerpro braid and 8ld berkley fireline. The cut isnt clean like if mono, but completely acceptable for leaving little to no tag end. About a 32nd" fray. My carbide cutters may offer a slightly better cut, but cost more and are larger. I like the stretch cord and have it attached to my Magma table via a hole drilled. Although it is slightly magnetic, it seams to be stainless. Ive coated mine with CorrosionX just in case. Sheath is thin cheap trash.

the product is good and sharp but the slinky plastic like that attached is always annoying. once your fishing lines get inside, it’s very hard to untangle

you get what you pay for, the price was good, however they will not cut braded line as expected. a little bigger. fit the hand good tho. just a garage pr of scissors now
