Square Shade Sail Hardware Kit, Set 0f 8

I just bought another set to add more mount options. I had purchased a different set previously and expected this to be similar but this one is much better. This set is much larger, with longer thicker turnbuckles and mounting points. This set is much less expensive than purchasing similar stainless steel parts from the local big box retailers.

Good quality hardware, mounting bracket loops appear to be welded on back side of them and are very strong. We mounted a cable across our pool enclosure to hang lighting from and wrenched it pretty tight, to the point of seeing the 2x10 beams of the enclosure moving. Turnbuckles worked well and very smooth. We didn't use the carabiners, but they looked solid and had interlocking tips on the part that opens to maintain strength. Those will come in handy for other projects!

does all what you ask it to do, looks sturdy. wish it included some length of chain which I had to buy extra for my specific project

I got this kit to hang up a 10' x 12' shade cloth for our pergola. This hardware is more heavy duty than I expected. That's a good thing, as it looks like it will hold up well over the years, especially with the strong winds that we can get here. The loops on the pad eyes are welded in place, so that should not be a failure point.Once the pad eyes were mounted, the shade cloth was very easy to hang. I put the caribiners on one side of the cloth and the turnbuckles on the other. I was prepared to make up some custom cables, but with the size of the shade cloth and the pergola, it ended up not being necessary. The stainless steel does make these attractive, in my opinion. The stainless steel does also have the advantage of not getting rusty over the years.I did ding it a star for not having lock nuts on the turnbuckles. I do have to occasionally tighten these up. Granted that may also be an issue of the shade cloth stretching a bit. I was also disappointed that there were no screws included for the pad eyes. So, I had to make a trip to our local home improvement store to get some. I would have been willing to pay a bit more to have the screws included.

The product worked perfectly. Needed to add some extra length with cable no big problem.

Goes good with the sail I bought for deck. This is the suggested kit and is good. I used one more caribiner and small piece of chain on corner to get exact tightness needed

These are very easy to use. We bought a sunshade and these to go with it and I love it!

Good quality. Made putting up the sail umbrella much easier. Yes, I could've gone to the local hardware and spent time figuring what to buy. But why bother spending time when this item is a click away. Worth the extra couple bucks and couple days to purchase via Amazon.
