TDK XP Super Pro ST-120 VHS Cassette (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

These tapes are the only ones I know of that can be used in a SUPER VHS machine and their quality is high. I am particularly pleased with the batch I received from this vendor on Amazon.com, noting that none of the tapes have any imperfections upon playback. The picture quality is better than on ones I have purchased elsewhere in previous years. I am now only able to find them at a reasonable price from this particular vendor on Amazon.com. I haven't been able to find them for sale in the stores for years.

When TDK made this tape they outdid themselves. Excellent S/N ratio even when using 6 hr mode in S-VHS. Too bad TDK don't make this tape anymore.

best S -VHS than other brands. I wish there is enough of this kind in the future.

for those wishing to transfer home movies (8 mm or Super8 mm) to DVD, and using a camcorder to put the film into a format you can put onto a computer or direct to DVD, Super VHS is the way to go, and since it's been discontinued, buying up some makes sense. And for those still using Super VHS camcorders (bulky, but work find if you're at home), you want the Super VHS tape.

Super VHS tape is getting hard to find. There is still plenty of good older professional equipment that uses it. This supplier had Super VHS at a good price with prompt delivery and I would have no problem ordering again.
