I think I finally found a brush that makes sense for coming my hair. I really like the shape of the brush as well as how it It feels when it touches my head.

So I am not totally sure what the hype is about these brushes from other reviews I had read.I bought these to try as I was in the market for a new detangling brush. there' are 5 heads of curly hair in my household that use a detangling brush. We all have different grades and textures of hair.from very thick and coarse curly mixed/afro hair to thinning elderly frizzy hair . My hair is more of a mixed texture of curls comprised of coil cures to wavy curls. This brush does ok in my hair as far as combing through when wet. But I am not sold on it being totally due to the brush itself as much as it is a combo of both brush and products. If you're hair is pretty easy to detangle in general with just a good conditioner then this brush will glide right through the curl strands. NOw my oldest daughter, she very thick , tight but also frizzy curls and shesaid she has a pretty hard time using this brush. She ays it feel more flimsy in her hair than doing a real job of detangling. She always has to use a comb first to get it mostly detangled then she can go in with the brush.it comes with an added piece that I tried attaching to the separated sections of the brush, but , upon using on my hair or my daughters hair , i couldn't see it's function as it kept sliding down. I thought perhaps it's supposed to lock the bristle sections in place but it didn't do that at all. so we have tossed them.I would say the thing that I see it works well in accomplishing is separating some of the individual curl strands. lAllowing for a more defined look to our curls. But again I mean this brush is not doing this single handedly, it's also down to good hair products. The other thing that I do like is that you can use it in the normal way that you use a brush, but I also like that you us it like..I don't know what to compare it to. but you can pull it through the hair from another angle.So if you're hair is impossibly thick or using on short boy style hair,, it works in that way.We're keeping these brushes for now, as they came in a pack of 2 but I am on the hunt for another.

These are amazing brushes. I have long hair with layers and my curls have come back! This brush doesn't pull and easily untangles my hair. I bought them for my daughter's as well. Truly does what it says...I was amazed!
