Skincom Premium Solartent - Navy

I actually ordered the Skincom Solartent Easy Beach Cover Tent (not sure why a different photo is being shown) but I would definitely recommend. It's a lot easier to put together with two people when it's windy. To avoid have the tent being "blown away" just angle it so that the wind hits the side. Each end of the tent has pockets that you can fill with sand to weigh the tent down. I also buried the connecting straps in the sand, just to avoid tripping. The only complaint that I have is that the anchors are "L" shaped and should be hooks instead. When taking down the tent, I realized the tent must have shifted slightly, I had to dig around in the sand for a few moments to find the anchors which were no longer attached to the tent. If this is used in grass, the then the correct anchors are imperative.

It really is an awesome shade, but it is not at all easy to put up. It also has wind issues if you can't really anchor it (because you are on sand). It would be great if it was set up semi permanently on a lawn and you don't have to keep putting it up and down a lot. I wanted it for the beach for brief occasional use, and it's not the best fit for that.

Instructions for putting it up are terrible! Finally gave up as impossible in the wind! Will try another day when calm! Suggest they rewrite the instructions!!!

Good quality product. Once we mastered how to put it together it's actually quite easy!

DO NOT BUY this shelter It is not free standing and will not stay up. It is one of the worst product I have ever seen. It is not worth a single star.
