I wrote the review below some time ago. Unfortunately it has now failed -So far these lights seem to working as expected. There are two switches on the bottom, one has on/off/auto positions. On this switch the auto position is the one you would normally use to detect any movement after dark and turn on the light for a few minutes. The other is a slider switch which controls how bright the light is. For just illuminating an area at night I wouldn't use anything other than full brightness, which is quite adequate, but not exactly very bright.Quite handy to have two of these which also makes them quite good value. Too early to comment on the reliability issues but I will change my review if needed!

These lights are nice and small They give out just enough light so aren’t dazzling. The lights can be set to auto sensor mode or permanently on/off. These plug in night light are used in all kinds of places,Bedroom, Hallway, Stair, Kitchen, Bathroom, Living room.I like that there are 2 modes, one that is on mode the other is auto sensor mode when movement is detected will go off after 20 seconds the brightness can be changed by adjusting the switch on the bottom of night lights dimming range is about 10%-100%. Quality wise they are ok, not as solid build as my previous purchases but they are still pretty good.

I'm happy with this productUse it to lit up the stairways..Easy to use, it has the control setting at its base, you can either set the knob on auto/off or to remain on the "on" setting.If you set it on auto, then the light only comes on when it detects motion,Setting it on the "on" means the light stays on without going on.While on auto, the light dies stay on for bout 60secs b4 going off.The lighting mimicks a dimmed light even at its brightest setting.Enough for you to see your pathway but not bright enough for defined clarity.It's worth it especially for night time and in areas that are usually dark even during the day.This will save energy too.Doesn't come with any extra bulb so I'm hoping this lasts awhile...I'm unsure if it requires a bulb anyway..Worth recommending

Really fantastic product and great price. The light from these is quite white which can seem colder than other night lights, but the overall package makes up for it.Works fantastic as a motion sensitive light in the hallway for low energy use and being able to adjust the brightness means you can really have areas a bright or dimly lit as you like.Bought 4 and using as follows:Hallway entrance light - not used the large hall light since purchasing. Excellent!Kids room for dim night light so we can move around the room safely and our child is safe if he wakes up and walks around - the dimmer is great so also excellent.Shed - occasionally need to grab tools or organise recycling when it's dark. Light is perfect for this and turns on when we open the door, and off 20 seconds after closing itHall light beside stairs. Instead of leaving a light on all night, we have one of these setup on the stairs so they are illuminated if someone wakes up in the middle of the night.All in all, think we're saving a ton of energy consumption and the house is being automatically illuminated as we want it.Will be buying more and using everywhere we can!

This is a great night light which is unobtrusive and neat with easy access to control its settings. So u can either have it on, off or on auto which detects motions and turns on for 30seconds. Theres also a setting to adjust the brightness.I have set one up on the kitchen counter. And it's been very convenient that switching the light on in the middle of the night. The light it produces doesnt dazzle. Fits the purpose of what I intended for it to do. I will be buying more for my family!

Original 3* review: We've got quite a few now and they are great when they work. Unfortunately, it's pot luck as to whether they will work as advertised. The three defective ones we've had, had different faults....and another one has failed within three weeks. Another pair to return - hence now 1*.

I rate it 4/5 stars because in my opinion it is very sensitive with the light sensor. The motion sensor works correctly. But the light is activated even when is day. Instead I am very grateful for the product and it has not given me any failure. The light intensity can be regulated as well as the function of the device.

Fantastic. Bought these after my elderly mother fell. They are brilliant, so easy to use. Very bright but can be turned down if required. Picks up movement straight away. Great price.Would recommend 100%. Thank you
