The harness is a bit less substantial than I expected. The description notes that the "vest body" is a mesh or plain cloth. Not really. The horizontal straps are 1 1/2" elastic straps with a reflective stripe, the verticals are 1" wide. While it feels pretty light, it fits well and is comfortably snug and I would expect the harness to sufficiently support a light action camera/cell phone. The buckles and chest plate seem sturdy and well made, and the J-hook buckle seems up to OEM quality. If I were using this with a GoPro camera or camera with a Gopro mount, I'd have no worries.HOWEVER, if you want to use this harness with a cell phone or compact camera with a standard 1/4" screw mount you could be looking at trouble. The 1/4" adapter is wholly inadequate. The head of the aluminum bolt is simply press fit into a recess of the plastic adapter body. No epoxy, no screw, nothing else. Just by turning the thumb nut on the screw the wrong way caused the bolt to pop out of the adapter. I would certainly not trust it to hold the weight of a cell phone (the cell phone holder attaches to the harness using the 1/4" adapter) or compact camera, especially with any kind of movement involved.If you want to use this harness either limit yourself to a camera with a J-hook compatible mount or substitute another 1/4" adapter (preferably all metal). Otherwise you may find your camera/phone crashing to the ground at the first bump and that's never good.

I bought this so I can try to record my sketches, which I hold in my hands as I paint or draw. I think this contraption is my best bet for the POV I'm going for. This big challenge is just my phone camera, which zooms too much on video mode and makes it extremely difficult to get my little skeches in frame. But this device holds my phone securely and I especially appreciate being able to adjust the angle so easily. It's easy to put on and to adjust it for different bodies. I'm a woman with an average bust and it fits well, I have made it so I wear it a bit higher on my sternum to avoid awkwardness as much as possible. Anyway, I'm very happy with this!

Okay I read the reviews on this product and some of them wasn't good. I gave it a shot and boy was I glad I did it held my Galaxy 10 with case no problem sturdy while riding my bike and when paddling my kayak I will purchase another one for my son or wife when we go bike or kayaking. I'll cosign this product cause I tested it.

It's Ok. For the price. Perfect for my Uses. Bike Riding. Crossing Guard. Could be more substantial. But it is what it is.

Was what i expected very sturdy even for a 300lb man

This product only comes in a one size it to small for me I'm xxxlg and this has no adjustment for the sides. and it cuts your circulation I'm very dissatisfied at the product. I would like a full money back thank you.

Pros:1. Strap is made of durable elastic material - won’t fray easily unless tempered with2. Camera mount is very Sturdy to mount small cameras like GoPro3. Colour of Strap gives impressive visibility of wearer during night & day4. Strap is easily adjustable to fit different body size5. Strap is easy to put on & take off - can be done in less than a minuteCons:1. Not so sturdy for phone mounting - which is one of the the advertised purpose - so minus a star in my rating2. May not fit or may be a tight fit for larger people despite being adjustable - I’m only 60kg & had it adjusted to it’s limit for a proper fit3. I wish the back has a mount for camera as well - but that’s just a personal wish so can’t fault the product for that4. No other complaints about this product. LolBottom line:I would recommend this camera mount of ppl who commute by bicycle especially for night rides. The added visibility couple with the camera mount makes the purchase worth it
