So this isn't the cheapest mic out there but also not the expensive. So how does it like up?Well the first elephant in the room is the dot matrix led panel. What is the point? Well if you stream or make content there is quite a lot of uses! But at a cost, and not just money wise.The streamer/creator app is in depth and allows you to create animations that are triggered by a whole multitude of actions and interactions. There is also the plethora of games that have their own chroma profiles, such as Overwatch. This is a very useful feature for anyone streaming, or just anyone with a love of gadgets that they don't need. But the aforementioned price is the resource hogging nature of the app. The more animations set up to be triggered the more of the CPU is used. When streaming it means you are already using more of the CPU than someone just gaming. Luckily if you are you using a Ryzen you will experience less of an issue, but those using a quad core intel might feel it and realise the normal Seiren is better.Now for the mic. It has a pass through for audio which is nice, and a volume dial. I wish this were a sensitivity control for the mic, or at least wish it could be remapped. The sound is very good and once dialed in and set it's amazing. The noise cancelling for stopping keyboard and other background noises is very good, and I use tactile linear switches! The stand though isn't the best... Luckily there are various arms and would suggest to anyone that they purchase one as well as a pop filter.What you get in the box. Well everything, to out it bluntly. It comes nicely packaged, as are all Razer products. If you already have the ecosystem this is a no brainer.How does it compare to Hyper X and Blue? Well it stands up. I would say if the led chroma isn't really a thing you badly need or want to go for either the X version of this or a Blue mic as both trade blows but both work slightly different enough to warrant them being considered in their own right.

Everything is perfect, however the software for the LEDs is a little hard to mess with, and hard to configure to get the LEDs to work. But overall, amazing.

This is by far the best microphone I’ve ever used, the lights are easy to set up and linking it to your other hardware. The sound quality is crisp and if you know what you’re doing with OBS you can modify perfectly how your sound is, crisp clean and works so well.

Yes this microphone is nice to look at and has some cool features but the sound quality is abysmal without the use of third party programmes such as Nvidia Broadcast to stop the mic picking up EVERYTHING that is not your voice. And even then the quality is still questionable.On top of the above, in order for you to make use of the emote display, you need to have both apps (Streamer Companion App & Razer Synapse) fully open for anything to work. This becomes irritating having to have so much open on your PC when streaming and drains unnecessary resources. It doesn’t seem to work when minimising the apps to the task manager in the bottom right (windows 11).The overall build quality is decent but the hole where you plug the wire into has no outside support. It’s like how the wire sits in a PS4 controller and will quickly become damaged and loose because it pulls a lot.

I seen that the price had been cut by over half of what the RRP is and decided to swoop in and buy 2 of these mic’s thinking I was getting myself a bargain. But the real reason it would seem for such a drop in price is due to how terrible the audio sounds for a mic first aimed at costing £180. It’s by no means the worst mic audio ever but I would recommend getting one that’s maybe a bit more expensive for less of a headache. The software for the LED art was a pain to setup too but soon become the least of my worries. Shame the mic isn’t good though; has so much promise..

It may be cheap but the quality is whack and the build is cheap. I would suggest a Blue Yeti or Shure/Rode instead but, if not then the HyperX range is far better bang for your buck 👍

de verdad que este micrófono esta excelente, tiene muy buena calidad, se adapto perfecto al brazo genérico que compre, tiene buena calidad de micrófono, los emojis son un plus con el programa de razer puedes generar tus propios emojis.

Ce micro est très bon, étant conscient que au même prix j'aurais pu en percer un autre, je ne regrette pas de l'avoir pris lui. La fonction emote est très cool, et le son est bon et très précis. Seul bémol, le câble trop rigide donc compliqué à mettre, mais il est solide (pas cassé même après différents incidents).

Il microfono si presenta con ottimi materiali, la qualità del suono mi è sembrata ottima! Inoltre lo schermo led funziona bene ed è possibile personalizzare le emote per rendere lo streaming davvero unico.
