Well, my cat loves it! He already had one of these but after three years and MANY battery changes, there wasn't much rolling around left in the poor thing. On the first toy I had to replace the feather tail with a braided line, as the cat, right away, dragged the toy around by the feathers and pulled them all out. Even so, he still loved this toy until the poor toy just couldn't keep up any longer. It might have been hairs tangled and blocking the roller, or the cat worn the poor toy out! Well worth the money to spend upon replacing this for my cat. He is older now and not dragging it around by the tail, so that should last a while. What he does like to do with this toy is bat it so that it moves. Then he sits back and watches it. When it stops, he gets up and bats it again. So funny to watch him do that! Other times he tries to catch it while it is spinning. He has A LOT of fun with this toy!!! It is great when they get a toy that they like and use on their own. I wish there were more automated and sensor toys for cats.

First one we had wouldn't work at all but they were very quick at sending out a replacement for it which did work! Cats had feathers ripped out within 4 days of having it and sometimes has a hard time spinning. Cats still play with it every now and again

In my case, this is not used as a cat toy although that was the initial intent. My 25lb dog LOVES this toy. I had to remove the tail immediately as the feathers would not withstand my dogs aggressive moves. I ordered two as Ivy will play with Rollaround Mouse for hours is allowed. This is her favorite pass time in the house. The toy is noisy, and Ivy enjoys knocking it against the baseboard which results in more noise. My cats, however, were not all all enamored with this toy. Perhaps they might have enjoyed the toy had my dog not immediately claimed it for herself.

I bought this for my new little girl, Samirah. She's a senior cat, but she's very calm and it takes a lot to get her excited. This toy was not it. I pushed the on button once, as directed. The toy ran around and around in circles, even without being touched or poked at. Samirah sat there and stared at it, and then she backed away. When the mouse stopped moving she decided to crouch next to it and she tried to eat the feathers. I took the toy away from her.I'm donating this toy to the shelter I adopted her from. Maybe some of the cats and kittens there will find this gadget more enjoyable.

I ordered it the same time as other pet stores but this item took the dealer another week to ship. They were very slow. When I got it at last I took it from the package and tried to turn it on- nothing. I went and got fresh batteries because the ones it comes with are cheap. I put good batteries in it, it still busted. Cat never got to play with her toy because it was broken before we got it. They did not bother to test to see if it worked before they mailed it. They're pretty slow at responding to e-mails also.

It's extremely loud and much bigger than I pictured. I thought the product dimension of 9in was for the box! As a result, my cat is scared of it, and he's a frisky hunter type. It also doesn't move as described. I imagined spurts of movement going in all directions. It just spins in circles until it changes directions and spins the other way. My kid was briefly amused by it, but after tossing it around for even just an afternoon it was losing it's feathers one by one until all were gone. It's a nice idea, but not well executed.

my cat loves this. it spins very fast backwards and forwards and then it stops. my cat figured out before i did that if he touches it, the mouse starts spinning again! i have had to super glue the tail feathers back in a couple times but i think they're in there for good now!

My cat loves this toy as soon as i turned it on she went wild. I have never seen her so excited and entertained with a toy as much as this one.

A nice quality toy, better made than most cat toys at this price. The main drawback in my opinion, it only has one setting, which is fast spin. Both my cats sat and looked at it and showed no interest. I think if it had intermittent speeds or just fast and slow spin it would be of more interest to them. Sadly now sitting at the bottom of their cat toy basket. May appeal to very young cats or kittens but my cats 2 and 5 years old not interested.

The toy is ok, and kittens seem to like it, however a couple of things which are not that great… Firstly, it’s really noisy, especially on the hardwood or tiled flooring. Secondly, just one setting where it spins (for a bit too long and a bit too fast), and nothing else.

i threw it away instantly- too loud and pointless, awful product that would scare and annoy any cat
