Works as it should!!
This fits the Dewalt 7 1/2" angle grinder. I did not have the guard for mine so I ordered it and it was the right one , and it keeps you from gewtting ground up in that man eating grinder.!!

The pic shows a clamp down, Mine was just a tightening screw, fits tight and won't slip

So i bought this for my make shift grinder. Of course it doesnt fit but thats my problem to fix. But it did not come black and it did not have a better way to tighten it because it has a flat head screw on it. 3 star its what i bought but not the color and screw tighten shown on the presented picture given.

Not what the pictures show!!!
The pictures clearly show a clamp down and instead you get a flat head screw! This is inconvenient because you need to move the guard alot in my line of work, now I need a flat head with me at all times when using it.

Does not fit my cordless cut off tool, Would not have given a star rating but I had to in order to write a review. Anyone with the DeWalt Cordless Cutoff tool would be interested to know this does not fit. I've started using the Cutoff tool with a wire brush & without a guard, seems to work just fine. Also I had no trouble returning the guard, I suppose that's worth at least 4 stars.

DeWALT makes fantastic tools, but they need to make better product listings. Looking carefully at the listing photos, you will see two different guard profiles. I ordered this guard, expecting to receive the profile in the first photo. Instead, I received the one in the second photo, the same guard that comes as stock equipment on my DWE4557 7" grinder. The guard is the usual top quality expected from DeWALT. However, the information provided in the product listing is contradictory, and it needs to be clarified which profile of the two shown is Type 27 or Type 28 or which one you will receive.
