NOURISHE Sandwich Thins, 7 OZ

I modified the instructions slightly. I used four whole eggs and two ounces of water instead of three whole eggs + three egg whites. I used the enclosed caraway seeds but did not add the suggested vanilla extract. I also used melted butter which was one of the suggested options for oil. I divided the mix into six liners instead of eight (so I made them a bot thicker). I used my convection toaster oven. I ended up with something that tasted more like a scone than bun. It crumbles like a scone. I ate them warm with a dab of butter and some apricot jam. They were delicious. Next time I might add some raisins or blueberries with a hint of honey. Only negative is it's expensive ($10+shipping) and you can probably create your own mix for a lot cheaper.

Not what I was expecting! A very small bag of flour, about 20 caraway seeds and some muffin liners. I hate being ripped off.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but just baked up a batch today for the first and I love them! To me, they almost seem to have a hint of pumpkin to them at first, but nothing over bearing. I mixed in the optional caraway seeds that come in the box and they give it a nice flavor boost. I live in Colorado (high altitude) and just increased the baking time by about 5 minutes and they were perfect. I used a Coconut/Ghee mix for the 2T of oil and they taste great! The box comes with paper baking cups that you place onto a cookie sheet. Easy to follow directions and took about 5 min to prepare everything. Box yields 8. I'm definitely ordering more!

It would be an acceptable replacement for the commercial sandwich thins if it were available in stores. Cost is prohibitive with the added freight charges.

Delicious and perfect for me, since I do not eat gluten. I thought it was absolutely the best mix I have ever made. And it digested easily The only down side is the price. However, if you have digestive problems like I do, it is worth the price to be able to make a sandwich or piece of toast. Love this product!

I was so pleased to find these, because I have many food restrictions and it is so hard to find mixes or shortcuts when it comes to cooking. Even though I love to cook, sometimes I just want to make something that's fast and doesn't require much effort. These were perfect!I used them as substitutes for hamburger buns, and while they're not the same texture as your typical hamburger bun, they're a close substitute and have good flavor. I will definitely be purchasing more of these, as well as more of this company's products!I highly recommend!
