Super pretty and might be real amethyst, what's cheaper? Quartz? But it's been dyed. The elastic took the dye and is the exact same shade of deep purple. Still a good price for pretty jewelry. If you're looking for the magical crystal healing properties of amethyst, however, it might be worth patronizing an actual rock shop.

Well my daughter actually bought this and surprised me for my birthday and I loved it. it was so beautiful it was obviously strung multiple times which I was excited about because I figured it would be stronger. Sadly, after a couple weeks layers of string started to stick out between the beads and then just last week it finally just snapped. I wasn't even doing anything crazy or aggressive to cause it to break so it's a bummer. I hate to give a sad review to a handmade product but maybe it'll help the seller with making sure it doesn't snap so easily.

I love this bracelet! It is earthy yet colorful -- will go with everything and holds a nurturing energy. I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't taken a month to arrive. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Very pretty but very expensive. The elastic seems strong so it seems like it will last a long time.
