LambertzDominos Dark Chocolate Gift 175g

A great treat for guests at any time of the year, but especially around holidays are "Dominosteine" as they are called in Germany and hard to find in the US. I absolutely love them! For those who have never had a domino, each one is about 1 inch square made of 3 layers of yummyness encased in chocolate. One layer is like lebkuchen, the center is a layer of some fruit jello, and the top layer is marzipan.They are so delicious which makes it very difficult to eat just one...!!!

What can I say? Yum. Compared with 3 other dominos cookies I've had, these are at the top.I recommend them to everyone who has never had a real German cookie for Christmas.

It just treatedTastes of nothing.. and I've had 3 other dominosteine brands at this point. All of them are better. Price is crazy..12 bucks for 14 tiny pieces.

These are still.ok but are only a faded shadow of past glories the gingerbread is pale and dry, the marzipan or Persipan is grainy and almost flavorless, this has a decent apricot jelly but it is nowhere as good as the classic tart cherry jelly, the chocolate is mediocre and had an odd texture. They are also very expensive for what you get. They are ok but not memorable ,the classic top quality dominostine was one of the most magnificent holiday confections ever, an ambrosia.A sweet to.haunt your dreams , this version is probably the best commercial version available for most of us but this version is at best MEH!
