The container seems well built. The lid does it’s job of keeping the heating and steam. Even after I turn off the sous vide the temperature drops very slowly. I’ve cooked a few steaks and it’s so far and I’m very happy with this purchase. I didn’t want to hard lid because I feel with so many openings the lid will eventually break or crack.As other reviewer’s had mentioned the lid and the container have heavy plastic smell to them I found that it goes away after two or three cooks. As my food doesn’t directly touch the water I feel it is not a problem. Are use the Anova nano and it fits with about 3 cm of a gap around anova.Not quite a tight snug like I hoped, but this should work fine.

It's pretty straightforward, it's a container! I like the silicone lid and the fact the container has a nice size lip all the way around, good for moving it around, gives something to hold onto. I purchased the Auag Sous vide and this lid fits perfectly!! This container is not BPA free, and it clearly states that on sticker on the bottom, but, it is rated for food and has other safety ratings. I'm not worried about it being BPA free since, when you cook Sous vide method, your food is in a vacuum or zip-lock bag!!

I've been enjoying sous vide using this container and I love the neon green lid - just adds a nice pop of color. Before this, I was using a really tall pot as it was the only thing that fit the sous vide wand but it was such a hassle to clean. This size has been much easier. Though the lid obviously flops around when you clean but that's the case with any silicone. The container has been holding up well so far - granted I've only used it about about 6 times so far since purchasing. I think you could fit enough for 4-6 people depending on the size of the food items. I do sometimes wish I had bought the rack with it but likely unnecessary when cooking for only two people. It would be valuable when cooking for 4 or more I think. I think this is a worthwhile purchase both functionally and aesthetically (like to see the stuff cooking in there) but if you already have a pot/container that works well for you then you can keep using that.

I really liked the size. Big enough for a 4 or 5lb roast beef using a sous vide (which is my preferred way of cooking a perfectly medium rare and ultra tender roast beef). I had been using bucket which was inconvenient. There are bigger sous vide containers but this was perfect for me. It doesn't takes up a crazy amount of shelf space but was big enough to store my sous vide inside! I also really liked the silicon cover. The opening was big enough for the sous vide machine and provided a nice cover that holds in the heat of the water a a reduces the evaporation you'd get if you are coming for several hours without a cover. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Much easier to use a sous vide when you have a container to do it in. This is nice with the easy-to-remove top and easy to clean too.

I have only used it once, but it works like I expected. I am pleased with it. I anticipate many years of Sous Vide cooking.

Bought for a Christmas gift as my daughter had tried one previously. Very happy with this.

the container was a decent quality...purchased for a sous vide I bought from Amazon...timer didn't work well...cooking was a total bust...use 1x and gave this new sous vide and container to Value Village...total waste of time and money

Works well for small cuts but struggled with some larger pieces of meat
